The following meter positions are not permitted: at the rear of the property at the side of the property behind fences or gates facing or opening directly onto public footpaths or into alleyways or entries within a coal dustbin, refuse store, garage or porch under windows, unless minimum installation height can be achieved. Note: any proposal of indoor meter positions will only be accepted where the developer can demonstrate that the Local Planning Authority will not permit an outdoor meter box by virtue of the building being listed, in a conservation area, or for a commercial supply where a meter box is not feasible eg shop frontage. 3 Show the size and position of the new building 4 Measurements taken should be to the nearest 0.1m 1 Proposed buildings and their access must be shown on the site layout NEW HOUSE 7 Mark the site boundary 5 Measurements to be taken from permanent features on site 2 Show the site address and meter position 8 Show the access roads and temporary accesses PROPOSED NEW PROPERTY 26 CHURCH STREET ANYTOWN 6 Show any existing buildings that are to be demolished Diagram 2 Example of a Site Layout Plan Note: Site Layout Plans can be obtained from Local Council offices, high street map shops and Ordnance Survey stockists.
