4 CUT THE BLUE TIT CLASSICS Our foundation is broken down into three primary shapes: circle, triangle and square. These are combined with three techniques: line, layers and graduation, to create our 9 Blue Tit classic haircuts. The Blue Tit salon foundation course will teach you the dynamics of these shapes and allow you to excel in the basic fundamentals of cutting hair. Ultimately, this gives you the knowledge and skills that will allow you to progress in your craft. Our teaching is based on our understanding of being logical with the hair. We don t just want to show you what shapes to do, we want to show you our logic in tailor making the shape. 5 CREATIVE REALITY After understanding the fundamentals, it is important to progress within your craft and continue to understand new shapes and techniques. The Blue Tit creative course focuses on advanced techniques to create creative hair cuts that are actually wearable and convertible in your day to day salon life. The Blue Tit Barbering course will provide you with the most up to date looks and techniques in men s haircutting. 8 FLAMBOYAGE: AND HOW YOU GET IT STARTED Flamboyage is an innovative technique that allows you to create beautiful colour fades, using a special type of transparent sticky foil invented by Davines. Results can range from soft and natural to strong and eccentric.
