2 PLASTER SEAL PRODUCT INFORMATION PLASTER SEAL Is a ready to use impregnating product. FEATURES AND CHARACTERISTICS WATER REPELLENT Reacts with carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) in the air, producing a water repellent effect after 24 hours. DIPPING Best method to impregnate brick products. (Dipping time varies on absorption capabilities of building material, between 15 to 60 seconds.) As with all silane and siloxane BA GOC s Masonry Water Repellents can cause a white deposit on the surface of colored construction materials. APPEARANCE CLEAR COLOUR CLEAR DENSITY APPROX 1,35 g/ml SPREADING RATE +/-5 m 2 SHELF LIFE 12 MONTHS (in airtight container) FLASH POINT NON FLAMMABLE PACKAGING 5, 20 AND 200 LITRE STORAGE Opened container must be resealed immediately, as carbon dioxide will cause the solution to become cloudy. Product is highly corrosive on lead, tin, zinc and aluminum and cannot be stored in containers manufactured from these materials. SURFACE PREPARATION Surface should be clean, sound and dry prior to application. LIMITATIONS Freshly impregnated materials should be protected against immediate threat of rain. Repeated treatments must be avoided on materials already treated, as these materials cannot absorb the solution. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Contains potassium hydroxide. Solution of product is alkaline. Protection of eyes, skin and all other surfaces to be protected from splashes. Aluminum and glass may be corroded. Any splashes to be washed off immediately with plenty water. APPLICATION Imparting water repellency to: Low fired clay products, immediately after manufacture e.g. roof tiles, face ricks, floor tiles, flower pots, ect. Aerated concrete. Thermal insulation material. Light fillers e.g. perlite s, vermiculites and aerated concrete granules. Gypsum and gypsum-based plasterboard.

3 SPIRIT BASE PRODUCT INFORMATION SPIRIT BASE is a solvent free silicone concentrate that is based on silane / siloxane and used diluted with organic solvents. SPIRIT BASE is an organic solvent and a high quality general purpose water repellent impregnating and priming mineral and highly alkaline substrates. FEATURES AND CHARACTERISTICS 1. Good penetration capacity 2. High alkaline drying 3. Tack free drying 4. Water repellency develops fast 5. Effective even on damp substrates 6. After application, SPIRIT BASE reacts with the atmospheric pressure or pore water in the substrate, thereby generating the active ingredient and liberating alkaloid. 7. The active ingredient lowers the water absorbency of the substrate. 8. Since neither pores nor capillaries are clogged, the substrate retains a very high degree of water vapor permeability. 4 PLASTER LOCK PRODUCT INFORMATION PLASTER LOCK is a permanent water proof to be used on flat roofs, shower bases, balconies, patio s etc. Plaster Lock can be used for lining and tanking. Carbonoxylated butadiene / styrene latex. FEATURES AND CHARACTERISTICS PLASTER LOCK is mixed with three parts cement and one part water. PLASTER LOCK may be used in conjunction with ecofelt membrane. PLASTER LOCK is maintenance free. Tiles, mosaic etc. may be applied successfully to the PLASTER LOCK treated surface once it has set. 7 TECHNICAL DATA SHEET ALL WATER REPELLANT IMPREGNATING SEALANTS LIMITATIONS Ambient and surface temperatures must be between 5 and 35 degrees C during application. Relative humidity must be less than 80%. CLEAN UP Remove uncured slurry from tools with water. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. FIRST AID SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. EYE CONTACT: Flash immediately with water for minutes and contact physician. RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS: Remove affected person to fresh air immediately and contact a physician. HYGIENE: Wash hands immediately after use. Wash clothing before re-use. 8 TORCH-ON BITUMEN MEMBRANE THERMOFLEX is a pre-fabricated modified bitumen membrane whose composed of distilled bitumen and elasto-plastermers (APP), reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric and fibre glass matt. This THERMOFLEX compound offers good ageing properties, flexibility, durability, and electricity. THERMOFLEX is available with a talc finish on the upper face to prevent the roll from sticking to it and benefits the unrolling of the product during installation. The talc finish also enhances the adhesion of aluminium reflective coatings and acrylic paints after application. The lower face of THERMOFLEX is backed by a special polyethylene burn-off film which melts during torching and prevents the roll from sticking to it. The correct application temperature is visible from the embossed surface of the membrane which is below the burn off film, when correct application temperature is reached, this embossment melts, also helping vapour diffusion and avoiding blistering. The burn off film also has a printed 10cm square which allows the alignment of the side laps quickly and easily during application. THERMOFLEX offers a high static and puncture resistant, good tensile strength, both longitudinal and transversal, ultimate elongation and dimensional stable. SUITABILITY: FIBRESEAL Without membrane is suitable for all waterproofing applications, especially in areas where no excessive movement takes place and where the use of traditional membrane systems is either time consuming or in the presence of excessive detail. LIMITATIONS: The surface over which FIBRESEAL is applied must be free of moisture, contaminants, voids and sharp projections. In ponding applications four coats of FIBRESEAL are recommended ensuring even distribution of the fibre and even film thickness.
