Swing Chute 5 6 chute with 3 2 foldover and one 4 chute side frame mounted. Optional liners and additional 4 chutes available. Engine driven chute hoist with controls at mixer rear and in cab. Drum Roller Surface hardened 8-inch diameter alloy steel with tapered Timken roller bearings with center shaft lubrication. Remote central greasing standard. Drum - Head 1/4 high chromium abrasion-resistant steel - Shell 3/16 high chromium abrasion-resistant steel - Shape Low profile for fast charging, mixing & discharging - Blades 1/4 thick abrasion-resistant steel. Reversed lip mixing blades for optimum mixing Booster Pressurization Control Adjustable settings to meet both state and federal highway limits. Pressure gauges are located in cab and at valve. Hydraulic Cylinder Hydraulic cylinder for pressurizing trailer axle features an internal accumulator eliminating the need for excess hoses and fittings while providing a quick response time for adjusting to road conditions. Gear Box Two stage 7000 series ZF drive gear box with a deep reduction drive. Paint Polyurethane two part top coat. 4 - STANDARD FEATURES For Stability You Can Feel. Hydraulics Eaton variable displacement all hydraulic piston pumps with fixed displacement hydraulic motor. Large reservoir with sight glass to indicate proper fluid levels. Entire system is filtered with a 10 micron filter. Rugged oil cooler with electric fan is mounted over the gear case in front of the drum. Drum Track Forged steel wide roller track to lower stress between roller and track. Charging Hopper 44.5 x 28.5 opening with 30 throat for smooth charging. Optional tilt up hopper available. Discharge Hopper New 20% larger design for easier clean-up and better flow with 45 degree drop angle. Cab and Rear Controls In cab controls and rear controls for the drum direction are standard. Shown incab modular control with drum counter, chute lock, chute raising/lowering control and booster control functions. Hatch Bolted in place 19 x 24. Located in the front section of the drum. Additional hatch available (Consult Factory). Rear Ladder New ladder design folds down and angles out for easier ascent by drivers. Water plumbed to wash station and at ground level with diversion valve. Water Tank Standard 125 gallon side mounted pressurized steel or aluminum water tank. Three position fill, hold and release valve for pressurizing water tank. Off-set swing away sight gauge with dual shut-off valves. 30 foot wash down hose with pistol grip spray nozzle. Optional X mount and aluminum water tanks also available. Fenders Full width smooth top steel or aluminum. Extra strong fenders with center bracing for extra support. Each fender has recessed stop, turn and tail lights. Rear mudflaps are standard. Front mud flaps are available as an option. Rear Pendant Control Rear pendant control is optional equipped with a 25 mobile hard wire control.

The entire weight of the mixer, concrete and water (total load) is supported on the truck chassis at only the front and rear-not uniformly along the truck frame. Schwing mixers impose the load approximately 6 back from the front of the lower frame and 14 in from the back of the lower frame; in amounts determined by the Horizontal CG dimension. It is imperative the truck supplier be informed concerning these concentrated loads. Truck supplier is responsible for modifications to truck, i.e., relocating air tanks, batteries, fuel tanks and exhaust systems. Notify truck supplier regarding mixer clearance requirements, so he may order truck set-up for mixer mount. Consult factory if additional information is required. Truck supplier is responsible for supplying a chassis to meet all applicable FMVSS regulations, legal parameters and customer s working parameters. Schwing will supply load distribution sheets only as a guide.
