The capital city of Port Blair houses majority of the mainland settlers on the island today. Prior to the colonial rule, however, the islands were home to indigenous tribes, some of who still populate pockets of the archipelago. Tourist infrastructure development has been on the rise over the year, citing rising tourism, but the islands still remain virgin with untouched natural beauty and unexplored marine life. If you wish to visit these islands, now would be a good time. Summary Itinerary: Port Blair Havlock 3 nights stay as per itinerary Breakfast Sightseeing: Cellular jail, Light & Sound show, Baratang excursion 2 night stay as per itinerary Breakfast Sightseeing: Radhanagar beach, Elephant beach etc. DETAIL ITINERARY Day 1. Arrival Port Blair + Jail & Light-Sound show Arrival Port Blair and get transfer to Hotel. Het some rest at the hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit Cellular Jail and Light & Sound show. Overnight at Port Blair Day 2. Baratang Excursion (110km/ 3hr 30min) Early morning start your journey towards Baratang Island which is 110 km away from Port Blair. After necessary permit procedure at Jirgatang check post (60km /1hr 30min from Port Blair), join the convoy towards Baratang (50km / 2hr from Jirgatang). Cross the reserve forest through Andaman Trunk Road Note: Photography and videography in the forest is strictly restricted/punishable by Law. Reach at Baratang Jetty. Park the Car at Baratang Jetty and board ferry to Baratang Island. Complete registration procedure at Baratang Island and proceed to Lime Stone Caveby Speed Boat (30min journey). Spend leisure time at Baratang and return back to Port Blair in the evening. Overnight stay at Port Blair..

2 Note: It is advisable to carry water and dry food for the journey. In Baratang only basic restaurants available. Day 3. Morning Ross Island & afternoon transfer to Havelock (2hrs journey) Breakfast at hotel. Check-out hotel and proceed to Ross Island excursion (1hr journey by ferry). Ross Island was the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime. Visit- important ruins include a Church, Cemetery, Swimming Pool and Chief Commissioner's residence. Later proceed to Havelock by ferry. On arrival Havlock, check-in hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight and Havlock Day 4. Havelock Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Elephant Beach by fibre boat. You can have experience Water sports on your own (own cost) Later in the Afternoon proceed to Radhanagr Beach Evening free and Overnight at Havelock. Day 5. Havelock to Port Blair + afternoon sightseeing After breakfast check out from Hotel (normal check-out time in Havelock is 9am) and proceed tojetty fro return ferry to port Blair. Check-in Hotel, take some rest and in the ahternoon proceed for local sightseeing of Port Blair. Visit: Anthropological Museum, Fisheries Museume etc. Evening free and Overnight at Port Blair. Day 6. Depart Port Blair Breakfast at hotel and proceed to airport for return flight.
