3 Cosmetic procedures Blood vessel growths (angiomas) An angioma is a benign growth made from small blood vessels and can be located anywhere on the body. They are treated with laser, which provides a good cosmetic result. Botox The appearance of moderate to severe frown lines, forehead creases and crow s feet may be temporarily improved with Botox. Most patients return to routine activities immediately after the procedure. Results become apparent in one to two weeks and last about three to four months, sometimes longer. Chemical peels Peels can diminish signs of aging and treat some skin conditions, including some types of acne and conditions that discolor the skin. Peels resurface and improve the health of skin on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms and upper back, with minimal downtime. Peels also can improve the appearance of dull complexion and rough skin.
