The name of Groenhorst College has changed into Groenhorst. To prevent any confusion we are using the present names of the legal entities. The main aim of this project is to improve the efficiency of the Indonesian poultry chain from farm level to retail especially in West Java province. Project title: Improving the Capacity in Agricultural Training and Education at Qingdao Xinfutai Industrial Corporation End PTC + China Qingdao Xinfutai Industrials Corporation Improving the Capacity in Agricultural Training and Education at Qingdao Xinfutai Industrial Corporation. The project was aimed at strengthening capacity for training in the poultry sector through implementing training programs for (smallholder) farmers in Qingdao, China. 5 Track record Asia Project title: Orange potato, End (CAH) China EVD, Agency NL > , CAH University Dronten is one of the consortium members of the project Orange Potato, having its main task in improvement of training and education activities to assure potato knowledge transfer The consortium exists of more than ten (10) Dutch companies that are interested in expanding their business in China or that already have investments in China. The project aims at short professional training activities and knowledge transfer on the long run by means of education. 8 Track record Asia Project title: Support to pre-accession strategy in the field of rural development End (CAH) Turkey Dutch Ministry of Agriculture , Technical support for Turkey s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to align with European Union regulations on rural development (according to the acquis communautaire): institutional strengthening and capacity building to implement rural development measures and support programmes, and communication and training on the new (EU) measures, new institutions/bodies, and new jobs and tasks. Assessment of training needs, based upon the new rural development policy, institutions, and functions; assessment of available training materials and trainers in Turkey (within ministries, universities, NGO s); development of a training plan and the establishment of a training and communication board; recommendations for effective training and implementation of basic training using problem-based learning methods. 9 Track record Asia Project title: Masterplan development for the Malaysian Agricultural College End (CAH) and PTC + Malaysia Malaysian Government , Formulation of a Master Plan for the establishment of an Agricultural College to train agricultural entrepreneurs, managers and service providers. Focus on agricultural production and chain management at internationally competitive levels, according to HACCP and GAP standards. Assessment of present state of agricultural education and training, strengths and weaknesses of the different agricultural sectors, links to research and extension, definition of entrance, exit profiles of graduates, identification of training needs, curriculum development, human resource requirements, budgeting, lay-out and overall design of facilities. 10 Track record Asia Title: European Floral Design Academy (EFDA) End (Stoas) China Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Poland; Greece; USA Secondary and higher education institutes ,- / year 2000 Open International training program in floral design, implemented annually, including making of flower arrangements, project management for floral design, instructor course training of trainers (didactical knowledge and skills). The training includes entrepreneurship, shop lay-out, marketing and sales, aesthetic design, and hands-on training in various types of Dutch arrangements. The program also includes assessment and certification of trainers and training institutes; based on a successful assessment the institutes and schools receive a license to provide the DFA, ADFA, ARDFA courses and examinations. By institutes / schools had received an EFDA license. Setting up of the programme, international acquisition of trainees, training of trainers, technical assistance in implementing course material, assessment, certification. Project title: Founding and development of a cut flower training centre in Pune, Maharastra state.
