1 The below list contains degrees for each CBHI service that meet MassHealth MCE credentialing criteria: MA Level ICC* Agency Counseling Applied Educational Psychology Art Therapy Child Development Childhood Education Clinical Developmental Psychology (Master s only) Clinical Psychology (Master s, PhD, or PsyD) Community Mental Health Community Psychology Community Psychological Counseling Community Social Psychology Counseling Dance Therapy Drama Therapy Early Childhood Education Education Education, with a Concentration in School Psychology Educational Psychology Elementary School Education Family Relations Forensic Psychology Guidance Health Administration Health Education Holistic Counseling Human Services Human Services Counseling Industrial Psychology Marriage & 1

2 Music Therapy Nursing/Medicine Pastoral Counseling Professional School Counseling Psychology (Master s or PhD) Recreational Therapy Rehabilitation Counseling School Counseling School Psychology Special Needs Vocational Counseling *In order for master s-level ICCs to diagnose a behavioral health disorder or determine SED, they must hold a master s degree that qualifies them to do so. For ICCs with a non-mental health degree included on this list, a qualified clinician would be expected to perform this function.
