4 Flight Planning Systems is a web based flight planning system with no installation required. It has integrated modules link all essential flight planning elements such as NOTAMS (terminal and enroute), upper winds and temperatures, TAF/METAR weather, ATC filing, Flight Crew briefing package, Flight Following, Flight Dispatch monitoring and storage of computed flight plans. Flight Planning Systems has been designed with focus on the small to medium (budget) airlines looking for an inexpensive but powerful tool to compute efficient and accurate flight plans with the emphasis on fuel savings and taking into account of ATC and ATM requirements. The flight plan calculation engine computes optimum fuel requirements based on specific optimum fuel requirements based on specific Airline Fuel Policy and produces the operational flight plan, and Flight Crew brefing package and loads this on to a Portal for download via internet which support self briefing process. Routes based on minimum distance (closest to Great Circle distance), Flight Crew Briefing Package summary minimum time and minimum cost can be built and stored directly into the system. Over flight costs are automatically computed at the route building stage. Flight level profiling and segment restrictions can be built to take care of Air Traffic Flow Management Requirements or specific Airline requirements.

5 To achieve further fuel planning accuracy, we have a module in which customers can enter the latest Zero Fuel Weight, which would be automatically ed to the Dispatcher. This feature will dramatically reduce fuel wastage due to inaccurate ZFW. In addition we are able to provide a means whereby the Pilot or Dispatcher can enter the latest ZFW, change aircraft registration and re-run the flight plan just prior to downloading his flight plan and briefing package. Flight Planning Systems can do optimal, fixed cost index or fixed Cruise fuel computations. Multiple flight plans on varied cost indices and route combinations can be done. Flight Planning Systems ETOPS algorithm calculates multiple ETOPS for a single route. Critical fuel scenario calculations are currently based on JAR rules. Flight Planning Systems is able to provide your flight plan in a standard or a tailored format at no additional cost. It is fully customized to customer needs. Flight Planning Systems has several automatic modules. One of the modules will enable the automatic weather and NOTAM interpretation and based on fixed rules of an Airline. Another module will be able to automatically run the OFP and file the ATC within given parameters. With these Dispatchers can handle more flight plans and the head count for Dispatchers can be kept low particularly for the Airline that operates high volume of short sector flights.
