Dr. Jennice Vilhauer After years of teaching yoga and meditation to adults, I'm finding that my kids are benefitting from the work much in the same way as grown ups. I've been blown away by how my girls respond to yoga Nidra and heart centered meditation. After I embarked on a Vision Board project with my girls last week, they begged me to create a camp for all of their friends around the type of work that we're doing- - especially the vision boards. In a world that so values the mind, teaching our kids to listen to their hearts, to tap into compassion, love and a sense of oneness is the best gift that we can give them. It's my absolute pleasure to take this work beyond my nuclear family and share it with your children! I hope you'll consider having your child joining us! Structure of the Day We will open each morning with an hour of Groovy Yoga & Movement, which means it won t be serious Asana. We ll play fun music and move and gro0ve in a yoga inspired kid friendly way. After an hour of movement we ll start to work on our vision boards. We ll round out the morning with lunch and free play outside. I ll stock the back yard with soccer goals and soccer balls, side walk chalk, hula hoops, bubbles, bean bag toss,

2 etc We ll do some more work on our vision boards after lunch. Then we ll settle in for an hour of yoga Nidra and meditation. Nidra, which is Sanskrit for sleep, is a guided meditation that we do laying down. Nidra takes us (yes even kids) into a very deep trance like state where we are open to receiving positing affirmations and energy clearing work. Kids respond very well and quickly to this work and they love it. We ll close the day with a short meditation in which the kids focus on their hearts and feel compassion, contentedness, freedom, bliss and love. These will go onto the vision board, so type them in a large font (at least 24) and double space them for easy cutting out. Please print them or them to me to print and send them to camp on Wednesday morning! Wednesday, June 17 11:00-12:00 - Vision Board- continue to search for images in magazines 12:00-1:00 - Lunch & Outdoor Play, Hula Hoops, Soccer Goals, Sidewalk Chalk & 1:00-2:00 - Vision Board- continue to search for images in magazines, create a list of images you still need want to support your goals and affirmations

6 THE FREEDOM SEEKER YOGA SUMMER CAMP ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY and PARENT/GUARDIAN PERMISSION FORM CAMPER NAME: In order to participate in Seeker Yoga Summer Camp, each participant must submit completed versions of this Assumption of Risk, Wavier of Liability and Parental Permission Form. Participants who have not completed this form will not be permitted to participate in camp activities until they are received. AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE To ensure that you and your parents understand and accept the risks of participation in the Seeker Yoga Kids Camp, you must indicate your understanding and agreement by signing on the appropriate lines below. PARENT/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT I agree to allow my child/ward to participate in the Seeker Yoga Summer Camp and affirm that my child s/ward s participation is completely voluntary. I understand that there are risks inherent in the activities my child will engage in at the Summer Camp (some of which are described above) which may cause serious injury or even death. I also understand that, despite safety precautions, neither Jaime nor Seeker Yoga can guarantee that my child/ward will not be injured. My child/ward and I are willing to assume these risks. To minimize the risk, I have instructed my child/ward to obey all the rules, regulations and instructions of the Summer Camp.
