2 Preamble An energy supply is the basis for the economic development of societies. Solar energy is one of the most important sources of energy of the future it knows no limits. Photovoltaics is the technology that can be used to safeguard mankind s long-term and economic energy supply.

3 1_ 2_ 3_ Purpose of the company Sunways AG is a supplier of photovoltaic solutions for the effective and efficient generation of electricity from the sun. We offer our customers who use photovoltaic technology optimum benefits through the use of standardised and specific components, products and services. Vision Sunways AG is a leading supplier of solutions on the international photovoltaic market. Our solutions pave the way in terms of efficiency and functionality and meet the highest quality and aesthetic requirements. Core competences and strengths Our proximity to the customer, our image and our brand form the basis for our selling power. Systematic dialogue via all sales and service channels ensures our high quality standard right through to the customer. Our capacity for innovation and the intense exchange with our customers lead to effective technological solutions. This forms the basis for our decisionmaking regarding the development of our core competences. We position our product and service combinations on the relevant markets via active lifecycle management. We are focused in our use of resources.

Each unit understands its contribution to customer benefit and is trusted to adopt an effective, result and value-oriented approach. Interaction at all business levels operates on a partnership basis and is complex. Our organisation demands high motivation and encourages the ongoing development of existing potential. It supports maximum individual autonomy by means of clear performance targets, defined tasks and the determination of competences and responsibilities. Employees and corporate culture Qualified, motivated and performance-oriented employees are a prerequisite for our success. A key aspect of individual motivation is derived from the employee s personal contribution to implementing the corporate vision. Together, we create a culture in which active participation and sustained organisation, transparency, communication, innovation and positive thinking determine the everyday working environment. We both require and encourage a focus on performance, success and value, an entrepreneurial mindset and the willingness to assume responsibility. We set great store by education and training; we work with individual employees to structure their professional development.

We focus on a sustained increase in customer benefit, an increase in enterprise value and greater attractiveness for the capital markets. Various forms of growth are possible for the further development of Sunways; these will enable us to turn our vision into reality. Geographic concentration and markets We are present in relevant global markets. We focus our core activities on markets where renewable energy based on photovoltaics is either socially accepted or firmly established in the economy.

6 MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES Introduction Our basic principles determine our collaboration and management style. They ensure that the content of our mission statement is put into practice in our daily work. We are trustworthy and reliable in both our internal and external relations. We focus on results and solutions In line with our strategy and mission statement, we agree targets with each individual within our organisation. These relate to his/her work within his/her own area of responsibility, interdepartmental collaboration and the working environment. We make decisions based on facts for the benefit of our company. We reject selfish behaviour that would be detrimental to the company. We structure and organise information in such a way as to enable easy access for all who need it. We believe in and are proud of our success. We assume responsibility Each employee plays an active role in the further development of the company. He/she assumes personal responsibility for the success of the company, both within his/her own remit and as part of a team. Each individual is responsible for achieving his/her targets and monitors target implementation. Communication and monitoring remain important management responsibilities within our organisation. We work effectively and efficiently Each individual sets the right priorities and is economical in the use of resources. Each individual is committed to avoiding waste. This applies both to the use of our capital and to the use of our time and knowledge. We put our capital, time and knowledge to specific use and avoid waste. We document the preparation and implementation of important decisions and work results promptly and comprehensively.

We share our experiences on a regular basis, as well as learn from and help one another. We contribute our skills and knowledge but also know our limits and use the strengths of others.
