2 Global Shapers Community More and more, we realize that only when we get young minds involved on a local, regional and global level, can we be able to face global challenges together. The younger generation has the passion, energy and entrepreneurial spirit to shape the world. The Global Shapers Community is a network of all the communities founded and led by Global Shapers from all over the world. These Global Shapers, between the ages of 20 and 30-years-old, have incredible potential and career achievements, and they are all dedicated to community development. Selected based on their achievements, leadership potential and drive to push innovation and reform, Global Shapers are leaders with large responsibilities. Via the community, Global Shapers have the opportunity to communicate with their peers; work with the World Economics Forum s community partners and have their voice heard at World Economics Forum events. Global Shapers dedicate their energy and passion to building a more peaceful and inclusive world. The Global Shapers Community is initiative of the World Economic Forum. Other communities include the Young Global Leaders, Global Agenda Councils, and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship. China s New Silk Road Initiative is based on the principals of building together, trading together and benefiting together. It is not exclusive, but open and inclusive; It is not China singing solo, but a chorus of all countries along with China. The New Silk Road Initiative is not about replacing the original cooperation systems and initiatives in this region, but building upon them. This initiative is built to help countries alongside China to share and collaborate on developmental strategy. Xi Jinping Makerspace demonstrates the energy and innovation of public entrepreneurship. This kind of vitality and innovation will become an ever-running engine of China s economy. Le Keqiang SHAPE China 2015 Immediately prior to the Summer Davos Forum, the Global Shaper Community will launch the SHAPE China conference 2015 on September 6th & 7th in Dalian. During this period, Global Shapers representatives called from 457 regions, and business, political, cultural and media elites will come to Dalian to attend the conference, totally around 400 participants. Representatives from the Young Global Leaders, Global Agenda Councils, and Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship will also be at the conference. SHAPE China 2015 focuses on future development, lifestyles and sustainable changes, discussing the limitless possibilities of the future. The agenda includes: Asia regional integration, economy, finance, technology, Internet, art, education, health and environment etc. We will share brand new ideas and build a platform for international global leaders and young entrepreneurs.
