2 Wedding and Special Events Package Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, and thank you for your interest in Georgian Dining Room Catering & Events. The Georgian Dining Room offers the perfect setting for your wedding or special event. Our formal dining room offers a great space for up to 130 of your guests. The John Molson Courtyard is the perfect spot to hold your ceremony or cocktail reception during the summer months. Professional staff will make sure that your special day is everything you have dreamed and more. 3 Planning Guide The Georgian Dining Room Catering & Events Planning Guide gives you detailed information about the Georgian Dining Room and our booking requirements. Please contact our professional staff for all your planning questions. 4 Policies and Procedures Food Tasting and Menu Selection For menu choices please see our menu options. Only food provided by the Georgian Dining Room may be served on our premise. Our Executive Chef is always willing to work with you to provide the ideal menu. We can cater to any dietary requests. Once you have confirmed your event with us, we will be happy to provide a food tasting to assist in finalizing your menu. Off-site menus are available prices based on requirements, location and rentals. Liquor Service The Georgian Dining Room is a fully licensed establishment. We strictly enforce all laws and regulations set by the Alcohol and Gambling Commission of Ontario (AGCO). You will find our bar menu in the menu section of this package. If you have a specific wine you would like served please let us know and it will be brought in and priced accordingly. Deliveries and Set-up All wedding items that are to be delivered including: guestbook, seating cards, moneybox, etc. must be delivered the day before the wedding. Unless other arrangements have been made. Access to the Georgian Dining Room is guaranteed two hours prior to guest arrival.
5 Policies and Procedures Decorations All décor arrangements must be disclosed to the Georgian Dining Room staff prior to the event for approval. Wedding Ceremonies The John Molson Courtyard is the perfect setting for your outdoor wedding. A $200 ceremony fee will be charged. Pricing All prices are subject to change and do not include tax and gratuities. Once the booking is confirmed by deposit and signed contract, pricing will not change. Deposit A $500 deposit is required when booking your wedding and the balance of the invoice is due seven days prior to the event date. The deposit is non-refundable. Guarantee We require a guaranteed number of guests one week prior to the event date. SOCAN Fee (Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada) SOCAN fee of $100 will be added to your invoice if you wish to use an ipod or similar device you must supply your own sound system.
6 Planning Information Included in your room rental fee: Linen White linen napkins and white linen table cloths, skirting when required. Coloured linens are available for an additional charge. Set-up and Clean-up The Georgian Dining Room staff will set all tables in place. China, glasses and flatware is included and will be set by dining room staff. Access to the room is guaranteed two hours prior to event start. Room tear down performed by dining room staff. All decorations are to be removed the night of your event. Special arrangements can be made if necessary. Catering We exclusively cater all events that take place on-site. Wedding cakes are the only exception. Staff Personal meetings with our experienced professionals to assist in your planning. (All service and bar staff.) Special Services Your coordinator will be pleased to assist in arranging special details for your event such as flowers, rentals, decoration, etc. Additional cost may apply.
