5 Dream Wedding GUIDE IMPORTANT DETAILS GOVERNMENT & ADMINISTRATIVE FEES (updated 20 January 2014) Breezes will waive government & administrative fees. Couples are no longer required to pay the $350 fee for weddings or the $150 fee for vow renewals. DOCUMENTS All couples must provide the following documents. PROOF OF BIRTH: A valid Passport (Valid Drivers License, Passport or State ID Card). PROOF OF ARRIVAL: Both parties must provide evidence of the date of their arrival into The Bahamas. Immigration Cards at issued at the Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS). IF NEVER MARRIED: Residents of the US, a declaration certifying this fact must be sworn before a Lawyer or Notary Public in Nassau, Bahamas. This is done at the resort. Citizens or residents of countries other than the USA, a declaration certifying this fact must be sworn personally by the couple before a Notary Public or Lawyers office in their country and brought to The Bahamas. IF DIVORCED: certified copy/copies, of the final divorce decree(s) (Issued by an official Government Office/clerk). Registrar General of The Bahamas will retain divorce Decree(s). If divorced multiple times, all decrees must be presented. IF WIDOWED: certified copy/copies of the death certificate (Issued by an official Government Office/clerk) for deceased spouse. These will be retained by the Registrar General. If widowed multiple times, all death certificates must be presented. FOR VOW RENEWALS: Couples must bring a copy of their original marriage certificate with them to the resort. All documents must be in English. TIME-FRAMES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS Blood tests are NOT required. Both parties must be in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas at the time of the application and must hand-carry documents to Breezes Bahamas. All reservations made within twenty-one (21) days of arrival are subject to a $150 rush reservation processing fee. This fee is in addition to marriage license and other processing fees (outlined on the fees page). Couple is required to be on property 72 business hours (3 business days) prior to the scheduled wedding (48 business hours / 2 business days for vow renewals). Weekends and public holidays are not considered business days. All ceremonies must take place on the premises of Breezes Bahamas.

6 Dream Wedding GUIDE IMPORTANT DETAILS WEDDING DATE & TIME Wedding ceremonies are available Monday through Saturday (excluding public holidays) between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm. Your wedding date and time must be confirmed at least twenty-one (21) days in advance to avoid $150 rush booking fee. web: breezes.com/weddingcalendar phone: (888) YOUR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE Updated January 6, 2016 Your marriage will be honored / recognized worldwide. All couples applying for a marriage license within The Commonwealth of Thee Bahamas must appear and apply in person at the Registrar General s Offce. A personalized escort service can be hired to aid in this process at a cost of $50 per couple. The Government of The Bahamas presently requires each couple to obtain proper government certified wedding documents, to prove the international validity of their marriage. This is done through the attainment of a Government Certification, which includes a certified marriage certificate with an International Apostille affixed. As of January 12, 2016, this process incurs a mandatory fee of $170 per couple, payable in cash or traveler s cheques at the resort. Certification process and mailing time takes approximately 6-8 weeks. Rush processing is available for an additional charge of $30, payable in cash or traveler's cheques at the resort. Rush processing and delivery takes 3-4 weeks. Whether your ideal destination wedding is an intimate ceremony with just the two of you or an event to share with all your loved ones, Breezes can create a Dream Wedding to remember for a lifetime! GUESTS OF BREEZES BAHAMAS Your wedding ceremony and reception includes seating and set-up for up to ten (10) guests. Twelve (12) including the bride & groom. Parties of eleven (11) or more are subject to a $15 per person set-up charge starting at the eleventh (11th) guest. This fee applies to guests of Breezes Bahamas and off-property guests with any type of guest pass for parties of eleven (11) or more people. GUESTS OF OTHER RESORTS CEREMONY & RECEPTION PASS Four (4) complimentary passes included / $30 each additional guest Up to four (4) complimentary Guest Ceremony passes are available for guests staying at other resorts. These Guest Ceremony passes are valid only for the duration of the ceremony and reception. Ceremony passes do not include meals, drinks or other activities outside of the ceremony and reception. Additional Guest Ceremony passes are available for $30 per person. FULL DAY WEDDING PASS $90 per person Full Day Wedding passes are available for guests staying at other resorts who wish to enjoy a full day at our resort in addition to attending your ceremony and reception. A Full Day Wedding pass is valid for eight (8) hours and includes meals, drinks and other activities. Access is not permitted to guest rooms or other non-public facilities at the resort.
