5 CONFIRMED SPEAKERS Sunil Agarwal, International Tax and Corporate Tax Advisory Partner, PwC Singapore Sunil has over 17 years of experience in international tax, transfer pricing and tax consulting services, and leads the Technology, Infocomm, Media and Entertainment practice of the tax division. He specializes in tax restructuring and has assisted various multinationals in optimizing their taxes across the Asia-Pacific region. Prof. Mary E Barth, Joan E. Horngren Professor of Accounting, Stanford University Prof. Barth is a former member of the International Accounting Standards Board and the advisory council for the Financial Accounting Standards Board, and was previously Associate Professor at Harvard Business School and an audit partner in Arthur Andersen & Co. Sunil Golecha, CFO & Head of Corporate Segment ASEAN and North Asia, Thomson Reuters Sunil is both CFO and Head of Corporate segment sales for Thomson Reuters businesses across ASEAN and North Asia. Ketan Madia, Tax Director South-East Asia, GE, Singapore Ketan started his career with Arthur Andersen in 1994, advising MNCs across industry segments before joining GE in Over a 16-year career, he has done a variety of finance and tax leadership roles for infrastructure, financing and digital businesses in South Asia and South East Asia. Robert Thomson, acting Assistant Commissioner, Public Groups and International Division, Australian Taxation Office Robert is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the Diverted Profits Tax and adoption of the relevant BEPS recommendations, and has represented the ATO in various international forums including on JITSIC projects and at the Taskforce of the Digital Economy. Steve Towers, International Tax Advisor, International Fiscal Association, Singapore Steve is a senior international tax partner and the Asia Pacific leader of the international tax practice in a Big 4 accounting firm, with 30 years of experience in international tax planning for multinational corporations. Greg Unsworth, Risk Assurance and Digital Business Leader, PWC Singapore Greg has been with PwC for over 25 years, and has up until recently led the Technology, Media & Telecommunication Industry (TMT) practice. Greg has significant overseas experience, having been based in the London, Sydney and Tokyo offices. He is involved in PwC s key publications around digital disruption, emerging technologies and innovation. Dr. Alexander Voegele, Chair of Advisory Board, NERA, Germany During more than 25 years advising international corporations and leading law firms on transfer pricing and IP issues, Dr. Voegele has specialized in developing innovative economic structures for transfer pricing strategies and for the defense of major international transfer pricing cases, and has frequently been ranked as a leading tax and transfer pricing professional. Prof. Zeping Zhang, Associate Professor, East China University of Political Science and Law Prof. Zhang is the Director of the ECUPL Center for International Tax Law and an arbitrator with the Shanghai International Arbitration Center.
