2 Client Leading Independent Bond Broker The Company Independent bond broker based in Edinburgh, Scotland providing investment advisory services and expert consultation on securities, bond and equity trading and global capital markets investment to reputed financial institutions across UK, Europe and Middle East. The Objective Client had a desktop application- to support bond/security/equity trading process. Their existing system was not integrated and had different applications for different purposes. The main users of this system sales desk users and back office users had separate application interfaces to manage sales desk and back office related activities. Furthermore, both applications had few common features and common database, resulting in redundancy and complexity. Another performance obstacle was the lack of latest platform, as the backbone of the existing application. It was merely impossible for the company to execute their plan of spanning at multiple locations with meagre application scalability in nearby future. The client was in need of a single system that could integrate all modules together with single interface, for all user groups. The Solution Elegant Microweb performed detailed and methodical study of client's existing system. It performed reengineering with architecture migration for next level scalability and uniformity. The new system provided one homogeneous solution for all types of users with security access roles and privileges. Users could access six major modules of the system with single interface. It created common framework with data access layer (DAL) and logical portion of presentation with business access layer (BAL). Third party, BLOOMBERG's online tool was associated, in order to get online real-time price. BLOOMBERG service the largest leading financial news and data company integrates real-time and historical information on about 5 million bonds, equities, commodities, currencies and funds and provides all data in a single source pc, mobile or terminal. Their electronic library also comprises data on almost every publicly traded company and biographies of more than 1 million people.

3 Main Modules of System Trade: This module lets you make a trade for client. Main processes under Trade modules are Inquiry, Firm, Blotter, Amend and Book. Settlement: This module is useful to settle a trade with client and market. You can Match, Confirm and Settle a trade with client as well as with market. Research: Research team of STMS handles market research in predefined categories like Credit, Daily bonds lists, FI Daily etc. You can circulate the report of research as per the individual client requirement. Counterparties: This module lets you manage counterparties like client, contacts etc. It also let you update details of Client Limits, MiFID, regulators, countries etc. Reports: You can view various reports pertaining to Audit trial, Finance, Compliance, Research and Counterparties from this module. User Management: This module lets create users and assign access rights to them for operational and functional usage of STMS. Elegant Microweb also implemented Compliance feature, that takes care of compliances associated with the firm, who drives the financial services.

5 Conclusion In this project, Elegant Microweb has improved usability of the Security Trade Management System for the client. It has offered a single bug free system with uniform user interface that serves purpose of different user groups. Integration of third party, BLOOMBERG's online tool provided helped them a lot to get accurate, up-to-the-minute and constant financial data round the clock.considerations on compliance for financial industry were taken care of during development. Elegant Microweb implemented essential compliance feature, to cater the need of taking care of firm's key resource that drives the financial services. Further, we gave them better control on credits and approvals of customer accounts. Our teams of talented professionals achieve consistent levels of service on hybrid delivery model. For this, key tasks of requirements gathering and feasibly study were done onsite, whereas rest of the development processes were performed offshore, without compromising on functional and technical delivery of the solution. The result is re-engineering and enhancement of a system with readiness and scalability of processes to move forward to the next phase.
