As the cars of today become ever safer, there are also increasing demands for continuous development of child car seats. This is where our passion lies. We develop our products in line with the Scandinavian philosophy that rearward-facing is safest! The advantages of rearward-facing travel are well documented. We share the industry view that children should travel in a rearward-facing position, and this is what we work for. We shall be the first-choice supplier of child car seats, in Sweden and on the European market. With a solid background within child car seats and the Swedish automotive industry, we have amassed knowledge and information from many years experience of rearward-facing travel. The first seats the company designed and manufactured were launched on the market in the early summer of 2011, based on Sweden s world-leading child-safety philosophy that children should travel in a rearward-facing position. We employ the latest manufacturing techniques and, of course, all our child car seats conform to the latest standard. We are proud that parents in Sweden are happy with our products. 4 UNIQUE AXKID TEST INFORMAION We at Axkid are proud to present our smart and easy-to-use functions. Sweden has the lowest mortality rate in the world in terms of children 0-6 years. Axkid is a Swedish car seat company, and follow the latest standard tests in the industry. You can adjust the height of the headrest and harness yourself by pulling the harness Extra-long support leg allows installation in larger cars too. Retractable ISOFIX connectors allow installation in cars with and without ISOFIX anchors. Headrest heightadjustable in several positions. Self-tightening tether straps for safe and easy installation of the car seat. ECE The E mark is a European marking governed by ECE Regulation 44, i.e. the E stands for Europe, while ECE is the UN Economic Commission for Europe. Protection devices are currently tested in accordance with the latest version (ECE R 44.04), but there are also products on the market that have been tested in accordance with the previous version (ECE R 44.03). Testing is carried out in one of the 15 or so countries that have adopted ECE R 44, and the approval then applies automatically in all these countries. PLUS TEST The Swedish Plus Test is a voluntary supplementary test carried out by manufacturers who want to demonstrate product characteristics over and above the mandatory requirements for approval of child car seats. A Plus Test also measures the forces to which the child s neck is subject in the event of a head-on collision. The Plus Test is a supplementary test carried out on child car seats destined for the Swedish market. A child car seat that has undergone a Plus Test provides the child with extra safety, and passing the test indicates a top-quality seat. REACH Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is an EU regulation that replaces large parts of the legislation on chemicals in place prior to 1 June 2007 in the EU and hence in Sweden. The Regulation came into force throughout the EU on 1 June 2007, but the individual REACH provisions become applicable in stages. FOLKSAM The Swedish insurance company Folksam has tested 17 different child car seats available on the Swedish market for children aged nine 20XX 2015 months to approx. four years. All parents want their children to travel safely in the car, and it is an issue that engages many people. Folksam therefore decided to test child car seats as a way of helping parents to choose as good a seat as possible. Axkid Minikid and Axkid Rekid were awarded the designation Bra Val, literally good choice. BEST IN TEST Bäst-i-test.se is a Swedish website that collates reviews and the results of consumer tests, providing impartial opinions and ratings for consumer products. Tests are conducted by various experts, all highly knowledgeable within their specific fields, to make them as rigorous as possible. The website covers products across the price range, giving recommendations that help you to make the best possible purchase, whatever your budget. SMARTSON Over a four-week period, 12 families tested the Axkid Duofix child car seat. The test pilots evaluated the seat s properties on both short and longer journeys. 92% of the 12 test-pilot families said they would recommend the product. CCC The China Compulsory Certificate mark, generally known as the CCC mark, is a mandatory safety marking for products imported, sold and used on the Chinese market.
