2 WORLD ASSOCIATION OF AGRONOMIST steps, ideas, strategies, programs The STRATEGY AMIA in EXPO Recognition of the AMIA-WAA as a Non Official Participant (NOP) in the EXPO As defined by the rules of the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions), Participants in the Universal Exposition are identified as Official or Non- Official: Official Participants are all Countries (144) and International Organizations (3) who accept the invitation sent by the Government of the Country hosting the Exposition. Non-Official Participants may be a group of representatives, institutional and otherwise, whose participation is authorized directly by the Organizer of every single Exposition

7 WORLD ASSOCIATION OF AGRONOMIST steps, ideas, strategies, programs The reasons Food and IDENTITY The Project Participation at Expo during the six months provides a network of initiatives (seminars and forums) in the Pavillions of the various Participating Countries, particularly those of members AMIA, in clusters, in the areas EXPO (Biodiversity, the history of agriculture, etc..) and will culminate during the Congress, in which, two days will be conducted entirely in EXPO, the second and final day.

8 WORLD ASSOCIATION OF AGRONOMIST steps, ideas, strategies, programs The reasons Food and IDENTITY The project aims to develop the major topics of discussion above in the context of the Global Farm to highlight the best practices but especially the comparison in the local contexts of the flows of innovation and its transfer, determination of the modalities of the production of food in relation to its territory at the same time to verify the sustainable growth of local communities. The role of the agronomist and his profession is determined in the construction of this network.

10 WORLD ASSOCIATION OF AGRONOMIST steps, ideas, strategies, programs The Ideas - FOOD The food is now a symbol of modern society It is an indicator of the health of a people It is an indicator of the degree of freedom and access to democracy Its availability is limited in some countries, if not poor Its availability depends heavily on agricultural production and relational Its quality depends on agricultural production and processing capacity

11 steps, ideas, strategies, programs WORLD ASSOCIATION OF AGRONOMIST The Ideas - IDENTITY The identity of food on a global scale is a simplified globalized The food industry and the mass distribution for each continent has identified a food type that is administered as a typical traditional but no link with the territory of origin The agricultural production for the production of food has been simplified both from the point of view that genetic territorial landscaped Only fifteen species of plants are used to meet 75% of the calories that are needed for the world s population and only 3 accounts for 75% ( Rice Corn Wheat )

12 WORLD ASSOCIATION OF AGRONOMIST steps, ideas, strategies, programs The OBJECTIVE The first objective is to relate the different countries of the building Global Farm Type that allow: To check the network of relationships in revenue flows and outflows; To maintain an appropriate relationship with the land, whose productions are identintarie through its landscape; To establish the sustainable development models where the relationship between input and resource consumption is compatible; Are functional to local communities. The objective is to formulate a charter of principles of the Global Farm useful for comparing professional and scientific, but especially useful to local communities and citizens of the world s consumers.

17 Teatro Dal Verme Il Teatro Dal Verme, che ospita la storica Orchestra Sinfonica I Pomeriggi Musicali, è una delle sedi più antiche e prestigiose di Milano. Inaugurato nel 1872, è il teatro di Puccini, di Leoncavallo, di Toscanini, il tempio dell operetta, il palcoscenico dei Futuristi, la ribalta dello spettacolo leggero di qualità.
