3 Overview of the Chakras The journey across the Rainbow Bridge Please print this sheet and keep it where you can see it. Base Chakra - Grounding, foundation, feeling grounded. Location: Base of spine in tailbone area. Balanced: Survival issues such as Money, financial independence, material goods, and food. Sacral Chakra- Accepting others and new experiences, relationships, creativity Location: Lower abdomen, about 2 inches below the navel. Balanced: Creativity, pleasure, sexuality, abundance, well-being Solar Plexus Chakra - The ability to be confident, and have personal power. Location: Upper abdomen in the stomach area. Balanced: Self-worth, self-confidence, self-esteem. Heart Chakra - The ability to love. Location: Centre of chest just above heart. Balanced: Love, joy, forgiveness, peace. Throat Chakra - The ability to verbally communicate effectively. Location: Throat Balanced: Communication, self-expression of feelings, speaking our truth. Third Eye Chakra - The ability to focus, and see the big picture. Location: Forehead between the eyes. Balanced: Intuition, wisdom, imagination, Crown Chakra - The ability to be fully connected spiritually to the divine Creator/God/Allah. Location: The top of the head. Balanced: connection to spirituality.
