If I m asked: A suite of technologies to support the development, deployment, operation and management of mobile applications Some other definitions: a comprehensive suite of products and services that enable development of mobile applications (Wikipedia) MEAPs provide tools and client/server middleware for mobile (targeting any sort of mobile application) and multichannel (highly device/os- and network-adaptive) thick (offline) enterprise AD (Gartner) MADP replaces MEAP and MCAP with the primary goal of develop/configure once and deploy native mobile applications for multiple platforms (Mobility Effect) 28 th November 2013 Mobile Platforms 6

10 Platforms and packaged applications: Fieldreach Fieldreach is a Packaged, Component-Based Mobile Solution for Work Management Asset Management Data Capture It supports multiple devices, form-factors and OS Platforms (but it s not a MADP) We have re-platformed Mobile Components initially from Windows Mobile to Win32, Dexterra, Blackberry, SUP, ios and HTML5 for Android and Windows Phone We continue to invest heavily in Fieldreach including: HTML5 Cloud service layer Browser-based management tools 28 th November 2013 Mobile Platforms 10
