Many thanks to all our team with the daily efforts they made...really, they considered MCE Group theirs. As President of this firm, I am very proud of the progress record achieved was a great year during which MCE group expanded its activities to new fields: Petroleum and agriculture. The events we have undertaken during this year in partnership with many parties: Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation & Salon Des Energies Renouvelables de Paris as well as AUPAM, LPIA reached huge success. For the next coming years, two important axes will guide us: collaboration and consolidation. We will focus our efforts on the creation and development of new conferences & exhibitions locally & regionally. We always set up our behavior on essential values: respect and loyalty, team spirit, passion for innovation, challenge spirit and solidarity with the companies for which we operate. 4 The 36 th Arab Helath Ministers Council took place at Habtoor Grand Hotel- Beirut- lebanon on 9-10 March 2011 with the presenceof 17 Arab Ministers of Health in addition to their delegation & some organizations. At the end of the Council, the declaration of the Arab Women & Child health was issued in the presence of many Lebanese personalities especially HE. 6 The Ninth Edition of the Arab Hospitals Federation Forum Medhealth Beirut 2011 concluded its activities at Habtoor Grand Hotel- Beirut- Lebanon after achieving record success through gathering 12 ministers of health sitting together on the AHF panel and discussing major issues in the healthcare held related to: Impact of Healthcare Quality & Accreditation in the Arab Countries, Status of nursing in the Arab countries between unemployment and excessive demand, Health Tourism in the Arab Countries, Future of Arab Healthcare industry, Arab Pharma Industry. Held simultaneously with the Arab Health Ministers Council, Medhealth Beirut 2011 was bigger and better and a resounding success! With participants from 20 different countries, the show has established itself firmly on the healthcare event calendar. This Congress featured more than 40 local and regional respected speakers sharing expertise and experience with the attendees. Medhealth represents the ideal occasion for industry players from around the globe to profit from the promising demand in healthcare sector in the Middle East. Medhealth has proven to be the leading destination in the Arab world that gathers Arab ministers of health along with key decision makers and policy makers and allows them to network with some of the biggest buyers and users all grouped under one roof. 8 Health Insight 2011 concluded its activities successfully through gathering 8 representatives of Ministries of Health responsible of Drug registration and pricing and discussing major issues in the healthcare field related to the Future of Arab Pharmaceutical Manufacturing companies & the challenges facing them as well the regulatory process of drug registration and pricing. With participants from 12 different countries, the show has established itself firmly on the pharmaceutical event calendar. This Congress featured more than 30 local and regional respected speakers sharing expertise and experience with the attendees. Health Insight 2011 offered a unique platform to network and meet with key opinion leaders in the pharmaceutical field from Lebanon and the Arab world precisely high level officials responsible of drug registration in the Arab Ministries of Health and top management staff from importers, distributors and manufacturing pharmaceutical companies. 10 Under the auspices of the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water, the first international forum dedicated for oil and gas exploration in Lebanon concluded its activities at Le Royal Hotel - Dbayeh - Lebanon on 30 June Important updates and announcements related to the first Lebanon Offshore Bidding Round has been disclosed. LIPE FORUM 2011 was a resounding success with participants from 29 different countries, the show has established itself firmly on the petroleum event calendar. This Forum featured more than 25 local, regional & International respected speakers sharing expertise and experience with the attendees. LIPE FORUM 2011 offered a unique platform to network and meet with Geoscientists, engineers and experts from National and International Oil Companies, Research and Academic Institutes, as well as consultants and witness significant developments in the frontier Levantine Basin petroleum province. 237 International Delegates Lebanon International Petroleum Exploration Forum 2011

12 Under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Gebran Bassil, Minister of Energy and Water, the Beirut Energy Forum was held with the support of the Ministry of Energy & Water, League of Arab States, the European Union, the UNDP, the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut, Industrial Research Institute (IRI), the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) as strategic partner and in partnership with Le Salon des Energies Renouvelables de Paris. The Beirut Energy Forum was organized by MCE Group. In its second edition, BEF provided a platform for professionals, policy makers, practitioners, donors, academics and companies to highlight the Lebanese, Arab and Euro Mediterranean initiatives in the renewable energy field, focus on the Energy Efficiency Building Codes, Green Building rating systems, Financing energy systems. While enjoying the support and cooperation of the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), the Lebanese Solar Energy Society (LSES), the Lebanon Green Building Council (LGBC), the ASHRAE Lebanon Chapter, the EU-funded project MED-EMIP and MED-ENEC, the Beirut Energy Forum regrouped 490 delegates from 26 countries and featured 40 lectures presented by energy experts from Lebanon and the region. In addition to that, the event included a panel discussion gathering the Minister of Energy and Water and professors from the Lebanese Universities dedicated to highlight Politician vs. Scientist: Clash or Development? 13 Regional Agro-Industries Forum for the Middle East and North African Region

14 The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and its partners held the Regional Agro-Industries Forum for the Middle East and North African Region on November 2011 at Le Royal Beirut Hotel in Dbayeh. the forum was organized by MCE Group. The Regional Agro-Industries Forum (RAIF) is committed to enhance the role of Agro-Industries through promoting the involvement of all the stakeholders in agri-food supply chains to reach food security, employment generation and sustainable economic growth in the Middle East and North African (MENA) Region. field trip where the participants visited many food business factories and touristic places. The attendants participated actively in the RAIF, which conclusions will be the base for the future guidelines in Agro-business for the MENA region, so their opinions was the base to detect the consequent intervention areas for both the private and the public sector initiatives. 250 DELEGATES The most important stakeholders including Governments, Organizations and the most relevant Private Companies participated in this event during 3 days followed by a Regional Agro Industries Forum 2011
