2 ISO 9000 Quality Systems INTRODUCTION TO ISO 9001:2008 The purpose of ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 9004:2008. The Process Approach. The Eight Principles. Permissible Exclusions. Be able to prepare his/her organisation for both internal and external audits. Understand the importance of objective evidence and how to collect it. 3 ISO 9000 Quality Systems ISO 9001:2008 INTERNAL AUDITOR Prior knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 is recommended for this course. Explains the internal quality audit process. Covers communication and auditing skills, plus auditing for effectiveness. Dates: 8th & 9th February 22nd & 23rd March 24th & 25th May 8th & 9th September 25th & 26th October 6th & 7th December ISO 31000:2009 Introduction to Risk Management ISO 31000:2009 Introduction to RISK MANAGEMENT This course aims to provide an understanding of risk management terminology, evolutions of risk management standards, relationship with International Management System Standards and Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) and Corporate Governance Reporting (CGR), Principles of Risk Managment, Risk Management Framework and PDCA cycle, Risk Management Process, Risk Management Plan, Risk Management Indicators, and Risk Management Assessment Techniques. Dates: 12th & 13th May ISO LEAD AUDITOR This 5 day environmental auditors training course has been designed specifically for members of in-house company environmental teams or management consultancies and certification bodies who wish to develop their skills and knowledge of the environmental management systems audit process. Dates: 5th - 9th September Duration: 5 Days FEE: 1,225 ISO INTERNAL AUDITOR Auditing for compliance with environmental legislation. Auditing environmental records. Auditing subcontractors. 6 Emergency Lighting CERTIFICATE IN EMERGENCY LIGHTING FOR DESIGNERS & COMMISSIONERS Certificate in Emergency Lighting for Designers and Commissioners is designed to meet the qualification criteria for Emergency Lighting Designers and Commissioners, as set out in I.S. 3217:2008 This course is delivered in 3 modules; Module 1: Common topics for both designers & commissioners ( 1,000) (On completion of the common module course, delegates progress on to either Designer and/or Commissioner Modules). Module 2: Designer module ( 200) (delegates must have completed common modules in order to attend the design module) Module 3: Commissioner module ( 200) (delegates must have completed common modules in order to attend the commissioner module) Who should attend? This course is aimed at anyone involved in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of emergency lighting equipment and systems. No qualifications are required to attend this course. However, there are specific qualification requirements laid down in I.S. 3217:2008 for those practicing as Designers or Commissioners of Emergency Lighting Systems. Basic technical/electrical experience would be an advantage. NOTE : Annex B is informative - Compliance with the standard does not necessitate compliance with Annex B. ACCREDITATION FETAC/HETAC Level 6 Special Purpose Award for Designers (when available). FETAC/HETAC Level 6 Special Purpose Award for Commissioners (when available). PLEASE NOTE: Until such time as the Award is approved by FETAC/HETAC, upon successful completion of the relevant assessment, NSAI will issue a registration number identifying the delegate as a designer and/or commissioner of emergency lighting systems based on the requirements of I.S. 3217:2008. 7 I.S Fire Detection Review Course I.S. 3218:2009 Fire detection & alarm systems review course COURSE AIM : This 1-day Review Course is designed to update existing users of the 1989 Code of Practice with the changes in the new Standard to the extent that will allow them to continue with their activities in relation to such systems under the new requirements of the Standard. 8 Medical Devices INTRODUCTION TO ISO & MEDICAL DEVICE DIRECTIVE This course is intended for personnel from the medical device industry who have a basic knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements. It may also be of interest to purchasers of medical devices. Introduction to medical devices directive and standards. ISO 13485:2003 clause requirements, process approach. Medical Devices Directive overview, specific aspects of 93/42/EEC. Dates: 15th & 16th September ISO LEAD AUDITOR This five-day intensive course prepares students for the qualification process for ISO 9001:2000 with specific emphasis on ISO 13485:2003 and trains them on how to conduct 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits for Certification Bodies. It also empowers them to give practical help and information to those who are working towards compliance and certification.
