Encounter a wide variety of colourful fish, turtles and other marine creatures whilst exploring the beautiful coral reef gardens surrounding Green Island. Masks and fins available in all sizes. Float across the reef, looking through large viewing windows while enjoying an informative commentary. This 30 minute tour allows you to view the spectacular coral reef where an abundance of fish is guaranteed during a lively fish feed. Step below water level aboard our air-conditioned Semi-Submarine. View the underwater world from a diver s perspective, without getting wet! Glide through the coral gardens on this 30 minute tour and enjoy a spectacular fish feeding. 4 Great Barrier Reef Island Beaches Tropical Rainforest Green Island is a beautiful coral cay within Australia s acclaimed World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef. As a protected Marine Park, the waters around the island are home to a large variety of tropical sea life including colourful fish, turtles, giant clams, starfish, shells, anemones, sponges and many more incredible marine creatures. Green Island is a part of the Great Barrier Reef and was created by thousands of years of wave action pushing up coral rubble and sediment to form a coral cay. Take a rest from your reef activities with a relaxing stroll around the island, taking about 45 minutes. Snorkel or swim in the warm island waters straight off the idyllic white sandy beaches. When you re ready to escape the heat of the day, head in to the shady retreat of the island s rainforest. Follow the rainforest boardwalks and read interpretive signage along the way with interesting facts about the history and ecology of the Island. Marineland Melanesia This fascinating walk-through nautical museum features live crocodiles and tropical marine aquariums.
