1 Executive Management Team Jim Boult Chief Executive After six years as one of the airport company s Board of Directors, Jim was appointed the Chief Executive of Christchurch International Airport in February He is a director of several private companies, and was previously Deputy Chairman of Tourism New Zealand. He has extensive business interests in many fields, including tourism, financial services, property, publishing and hospitality. He was the Managing Director of Shotover Jet for 16 years, which offers one of New Zealand s most famous tourism experiences. Jim has had a lifelong interest in aviation.

2 Andy Lester Chief Operating Officer Andy joined CIAL in 2010 with extensive operations, general management and marketing experience. A Canterbury local, his previous roles include General Manager New Zealand for General Cable, where he led a team of over 400 people in both the operations and the commercial areas, and GM Operations for Dynamic Controls. His team is responsible for most aspects of airport infrastructure and operations, including meeting all audit requirements for a Category 8 airport. Andy also oversees the marketing team for CIAL. Operational quality management and compliance Marketing Day-to-day operations at the airport including: Airport Services Integrated Operations Centre Propel Infrastrucural Services Fire and airfield operations Car parking and land transport Security Emergency response.

3 Blair Forgie Chief Commercial Officer After working for CIAL as a property advisor, Blair began his role as General Manager Property in March 2009 before moving into his new role as Chief Commercial Officer in Blair is a registered valuer and chartered accountant and was previously an independent property consultant. Prior to that, Blair held positions with AMP Capital Investors and Ernst & Young. Implementation of the airport s commercial property management and development strategy Management and development of the airport s terminal property with a particular emphasis on retail and concession areas Overall responsibility for the financial performance of the airport car parking and ground transport business Implementation of commercial diversification strategy to increase CIAL s revenues.

4 Matt Findlay General Manager Aeronautical Development Matt is a recent addition to the management team, and brings with him considerable experience in the aviation industry. Previously the Route Development Manager for Auckland Airport, Matthew has held a number of roles at Auckland Airport over nearly ten years. He also has experience as a management consultant for airports in the United Kingdom. Matt s focus is maintaining current airline services to Christchurch Airport, and bringing in new routes and new airlines. Airline route development Air cargo development Development and implementation of aeronautical business growth strategies Focus on key partnerships with airlines, tourism operators, airport businesses and industry operators.

5 Neil Cochrane General Manager Business Services Neil joined CIAL in 2005 after nearly six years with Meridian Energy. His business experience in both New Zealand and Australia includes helping establish new corporate entities and working in companies undergoing major organisational change. He has extensive experience in a range of industries including telecommunications, health, primary sector and manufacturing. Provide expert business capability Risk management (ensuring business continuity and mitigation of business risk) Technology solutions (both day-to-day operations and the development of CIAL s future technology platforms) Legal counsel support to the business.

6 Rhys Boswell General Manager Planning & Environment Rhys has worked for CIAL for the past eleven years in a variety of management roles. His experience includes RMA planning, master planning, environmental management, project management and property development, gained through his years of professional experience at Hong Kong and Christchurch International Airports. Development and implementation of the company s long term airport infrastructure/land-use planning strategy (airside and landside) and the environmental management strategy Ensure compliance with all legislation relating to airport planning/environment Responsibility for the management and procurement of resource consents that support the airport s development needs.

7 Tim May Chief Financial Officer Tim was appointed CIAL Chief Financial Officer in March 2012, after working under secondment as Acting Head of Finance for CIAL for the previous five months. Tim began his career with Ernst & Young in London, obtaining his CA qualification during four years with the company in the UK. He then spent 18 months working within the Treasury Finance department of a UK bank in a role where he was responsible for control over dealing operations. Tim immigrated to New Zealand in 1995 and has worked with Ernst & Young since then, including his current secondment to CIAL.
