27 Introduction NFIA Mission Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency To attract foreign direct investments that make a positive contribution to the Dutch economy, by creating employment, enhancing innovation, or providing business opportunities for Dutch supporting industries Operational unit under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation & Agriculture, and part of Economic Section in the Embassies Helps and advises foreign companies on the establishment, rolling out and/or expansion of their international activities in the Netherlands Established more than 30 years ago, and since then supported more than 2,700 companies from nearly 50 countries All services provided on a complimentary and confidential basis
