3 A large stove in compact form Contura 800 has taken its inspiration from the famous superellipse. The shape makes this stove compact and attractive, it is only 36 cm deep and 46 cm wide making it very easy to position, even in small spaces Thanks to its excellent shape, we have been able to add generous areas of glass without losing efficiency in the firebox. Contura 800 is a proper little shining star! The stove is available in several versions, so it is easy to find the one that suits you. The basic 810 model without side lights can be supplemented with kg of real soapstone cladding, which provides even and comfortable heat for a long time. If you want to see even more of the fire select from models 8, 860 and 880 with large side lights. Swivel the stove steplessly by placing it on a pillar with a turntable and enjoy the fire from all angles of the room. 4 CONTURA 810 Preferably raw but always warm We wanted to keep a bit of a raw feeling with the thick stone walls. The flames behind the large area of glass give a lovely contrast and the fire heats really well. We love the elliptical shape of our sturdy little stove! 4 5

5 CONTURA 8 High mountains go with hot fires Our small mountain cabin has lasted many years. When we renovated and extended we decided to put the stove in the middle of the main cabin to make the most of the heat and light. The attractive stove with large glass areas is perfect! When we are not here we yearn for the stove as much as the nature. 6 7

9 Light with the environment in mind Almost all consumption affects the environment. However, there are some products that have less impact on the environment than others. They are Swan labelled, like the Contura stoves. This makes burning wood an environmentallymarked, renewable, clean and economical heating method. Everything we do has an impact on the environment in some way. Today, we often have the opportunity to influence to what extent. One way to contribute to a reduced environmental impact when choosing a stove is to look out for the Swan label. Stringent requirements are placed on the manufacture and use of Swan marked stoves. The cool room air is drawn into the stove from underneath, is heated and rises. Just a few seconds later the hot air flows out into the room. Clean glass. The control on the front of the stove controls the intensity of the fire by regulating the amount of combustion air. The combustion air is heated to extremely high temperatures and flushed out onto the inside of the glass, which prevents soot build-up. High combustion. In the rear of the stove there is an extra duct system for spreading preheated combustion air. The system is called Clean Burning and is activated by sliding the control on the front to the left. The stove burns efficiently and for long periods resulting in a combustion with very low particle concentrations

Floor protection Self-closing door If you want to feel extra safe and comfortable Contura 800 is available in a version with a selfclosing door. When you release the door in the open position, it closes and locks automatically (Not for Contura 880). Protect the floor with a specially designed floor protector. Available in black or grey plates and in transparent glass. The protector can easily be moved when cleaning. Soft-close door The door closes itself softly and provides safe and discreet storage of things such as matches and gloves. Designed to match the colour of the stove. Turntable for 880 Those who really want to see the fire from every angle of the room, choose pedestal Contura 880 with turntable. The turntable rotates steplessly 360 and can be set to only turn 90 or 180. Placing the stove in the middle of an open room not only provides maximum fire visibility, it also provides effective heat dispersion. Cast-iron top The cast iron top can act as a hotplate. Practical for heating food, in the event of a power cut for example. Glass top We believe the top plate in black tinted glass is an aesthetic hit (only available for black stoves).
