5 Perspectives from the Field ehealth Policy, Standards and Interoperability As part of the Paris International Working Group Meeting, HL7 has designed a special packaged event to inform meeting attendees and attract ehealth policy influencers and implementers. Prominent French, European and international health and technology leaders have been invited to speak at this event. These unique policy sessions and networking opportunities will take place from Monday, May 11 - Tuesday, May 12, and include the following: Welcome reception with informative poster-boards about standards and interoperability in Europe and beyond HL7 working group sessions addressing European ehealth themes Sunday night lecture: Public Health, Interoperability and International Disaster Settings (Ebola Case Study) An update on French ehealth and standards initiatives Perspectives on plugging into regional and global interoperability frameworks Lessons in transformative healthcare and interoperability, including FHIR Interoperability and private sector innovation activities in Europe FEE: The policy sessions are included in the registration fees.
