3 Family as a Unit: Clinical Integration LifeLong Medical Care Howard Daniel Clinic, Oakland, CA As part of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Student/Resident Experiences and Rotations in Community Health (SEARCH) program, provided primary care to all ages in a predominantly lowincome, African American family practice setting. Medical services provided included pediatrics, women s health, obstetrical care, and adult general medicine. Access Carroll, Westminster, MD Provided primary care to uninsured, low income residents of Carroll County. Conducted episodic visits for a range of patient concerns including diabetes, digestive disorders, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, musculoskeletal disorders, mental health, and substance abuse.
