Job Title Senior Full-Stack Web Developer Reason for Vacancy Division/Department Audit Software Growth in division Reporting to: (name & position of Manager and any indirect reporting lines) Development Manager Main Purpose of the Position The individual we are seeking will be the go-to person and core contributor to the development of our Cloud applications. This person will view the web architecture of our solutions critically, with a keen eye on intuitive design and extensibility and stays on the cutting edge of the latest web development tools and technologies (e.g. React), trying and testing them out, weighing the pros and cons, and makes informed choices about which are best to integrate into our environment. This person should also be able to design the architecture of the solution and all code written around maximum performance and scalability, and have excellent debugging skills to discover and resolve performance bottlenecks. You will own the components that you work on, and be involved from design through deployment to ensure we ship the highest quality software. Key Deliverables and Weighting Development Process o CQS development processes are followed in all areas from source/repo control to issue logging and tracking Development Quality

2 o Functional testing passes 100% o 99% code coverage o Test specs peer reviewed as part on submission process o Committed code is always in a ready state Delivery o Assigned features are delivered in the required sprints, no variance on delivery o Development is delivered by agreed-upon deadlines Management Level and Details of the Management Component of this role N/A Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 4+ years experience in server side technologies and databases e.g. Node.js, Express.js, PostgresSQL, Sequelize 4+ years experience in server-side templating languages e.g. Jade, EJS Solid understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) Expert in and live production experience using JavaScript, Angular and React Adopts a Test Driven Development approach and is familiar with testing tools Familiarity and experience with Continuous Integration tools and services Team player: has fun teaching people new concepts, enjoys collaborating with a team Sense of responsibility and ownership. 3 Details of Experience Essential requirements 4+ years development experience An impeccable track-record with quality web development in a production environment Experience leading projects or developing new products that deliver significant improvements in scale, features or reliability under little supervision Excellent skills in system and code design, algorithms and data structures Desirable Requirements CQS frequently uses the following technologies for web development, the preferred candidate will be familiar with some or all of: Node.js (with Express & Sequelize) PostgresSql ES2015 REST APIs Angular 1.x React SASS Jade ES2015 Computer Skills and Knowledge An advanced, in-depth understanding of required IDEs, development tools, operating systems and supporting tools such as Microsoft Office Working Environment & Travel No travel required.
