3 To set up Reason Codes: In Intergy select Setup Select Scheduling Select the Reasons page and then the Reason Codes tab Select New and create the reason code that you want Here is where you can change the colors for each reason code 3 USER EXCHANGE

4 Colors Use colors strategically Each appointment type should have a different color so they are easily identifiable at a glance 4 USER EXCHANGE

5 Templates Go to Scheduling Maintenance Window and select the Templates section Select view (single column suggested) Click New Name your template and write description Select specific time slots and identify what reason class the provider would like to see Select times for each reason class 5 USER EXCHANGE

6 Rotations Use rotations to make scheduling easier for providers with rotating schedules Create a few general rotations that providers can share and customize 6 USER EXCHANGE

9 Revolving Rotations Dr. has a meeting the third Thursday of every month Create 2 rotations: one 4 week, one 5 week When assigning rotations, insert the 4 week rotation for 4 week months, and the 5 week rotation for the 5 week months Easier than inserting the meeting every month 9 USER EXCHANGE

11 Rules and Limits If provider has strict guidelines they follow (i.e. new patients in the morning, only 5 new patients a day, etc.) set limits If patient can t have certain kind of appointment without another kind, set rules (i.e. can t have diabetes appointment without a follow-up) If provider only performs certain procedures for certain plans, set limits (i.e. coronary bypass for only BCBS patients) Administrator can designate which staff can override rules or limits 11 USER EXCHANGE

14 Advanced Searching for Appointments Type provider initials in provider field to narrow search Narrow further by using AM, PM, or Full Day radio buttons Search Macros Can search for multiple resources at a time or multiple visits For patients who have procedures or multiple follow-up appointments 14 USER EXCHANGE
