2 Product Overview The Iplex EZIpit is a real breakthrough in sewer construction technology, allowing a leak-free plastic sewer system. The environmental, technical and economical demands of water authorities for a watertight, corrosion proof, stable and durable sewer system are now a reality, with the Iplex EZIpit. The Iplex EZIpit provides considerable benefits over conventional concrete systems, especially where site access is difficult or environmental issues are a concern. The EZIpit can be handled without heavy lifting equipment and installed at the same time as the sewer pipes. As a result substantial cost savings in construction can be achieved and risks associated with open excavation minimised. The EZIpit provides easy access from the surface for inspection, water jet cleaning and maintenance in gravity sewer and drainage systems. The advanced design allows safe access for typical CCTV inspection and rodding equipment but prevents man entry. The EZIpit base and riser components effectively seal to provide resistance to infiltration and as a consequence, eliminate inflows during periods of prolonged wet weather. This results in cost savings for sewage treatment plant operators and minimises the potential for environmentally hazardous discharges. The base and riser are made of injection moulded polypropylene, which provides high resistance to chemical attack, exceptional toughness and ensures a long service life. The moulded benching provides the perfect hydraulic channel to avoid chokes in sewers. The System The EZIpit is a polypropylene inspection and maintenance chamber which consists of a base, a corrugated riser and cover arrangements suitable for vehicular (Class D) and non-vehicular (Class B) loading. The EZIpit is suitable for use with DWV PVC Sewer pipe manufactured to AS/NZS 1260 PVC-U pipes and fittings for drain, waste and vent applications. The EZIpit is available in two sizes providing flexibility in design and construction. The EZIpit 600, Chamber is available for greater accessibility with remote cleaning and inspection equipment and the high-tech EZIpit 425 Shaft for more compact design and flexibility in your sewer network. EZIpit Riser is manufactured as a single wall corrugated polypropylene pipe. ight grey in colour for DN600 and orange for DN425. The prebenched EZIpit base is available with 6 different flow profiles allowing change in direction and side connections. The standard flow profiles are: 30, 60, 90, straight through (180 ), tee, and double tee profile. The EZIpit base also incorporates revolutionary features such as adjustable pipe connections, which simplifies installation. The adjustable pipe connections allow a free angular deflection of up to 7.5 from the centre line in all directions. This flexibility makes it possible to adjust the angle and/or grade in the trench.

4 Product information Standards The EZIpit cover arrangement has been purposely designed to meet Australian conditions and complies with AS3996 Access covers and grates. Support for EZIpit Cover arrangement to be authorised by the ocal Water Authority. The EZIpit inspection and maintenance chamber complies with EN and WSA137 Industry Standard for Maintenance Shafts and Chambers for Sewerage. Installation The EZIpit is suitable for installation depths up to 5 meters.
