Note: 1)ALL THE WORK MUST BE CARRIED OUT ON SITE ONLY. 2)WATER PROOFING WORK MUST STARTED ONLY AFTER CHEAKING BY ARCHITECT THE CLEANED SURFACE OF TERRACE. 3) Any other material required will have to be brought as per the decision of Bank & Architect only. The materials will be rejected if brought without the notice of Bank / architect 4) Contractors are requested to visit the site, understand the tender drawings, Discuss with the Project Architect ( if any doubts or queries) and carry out the work as per the instructions & specification given by the architect.

4 NAGPUR ZONE I TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The prospective bidder is advised to visit site to get himself acquainted with the site conditions, prior to submitting his bid. 2. The prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes & duties, as applicable on date. No extra payment will be released under any pretext what so ever in this regard. 3. The prices quoted should be inclusive of freight, handling, unloading at site in Banks s premises at DHARAMPETH BRANCH. 4. Octroi charges as per NMC s present rates will be deemed to have been included in the offered prices. No Octroi exemption certificate & / Or extra payment will be released in this regard. 5. The rates offered will be inclusive of labor charges for handling, installation, testing, commissioning & giving test & Trial to the satisfaction of the Banks officer/consultant appointed by the Bank. 6. Statutory permissions, preparation & approval of drawing by the electrical inspector & approval of installation by him, prior to commissioning will be the contractors responsibility & no extra payment will be made to the contractor on this account. However payment of Government s fee in this regard will be released to the contractor against production of relevant document, or it may be paid by the Bank directly to the department by cheque. 7. All the work of transfer of power connections from the existing DB to new DB will be carried out on Sunday or any non working day, so that the day to day works of the Banks is not hampered. 8. Official charges of MSEDCL foe meter shifting shall be paid by the Bank against MSEDL s demand note. However day to day follow up for getting the demand note & charging the supply after shifting shall be the contractor s responsibility. NOTICE TO TENDERERS : 1. Sealed quotations should be addressed to The Zonal Manager, Bank of India, Zonal Office 3rd Floor, Nagpur and super-scribed as Quotation for Civil Work at DHARAMPETH BRANCH respectively and sent as to reach the office of The Zonal Manager, Bank of India., Zonal Office, Nagpur Zone-1, 3rd Floor Nagpur not later than 3.00 PM on (Monday). 2. Quotations shall be opened at the office of Zonal Manager, Bank of India, Zonal Office,Nagpur Zone-1, 3rd Floor Nagpur on (Tuesday) at 3.00 PM. The rates quoted shall be valid for 90 days from the date of opening,(for any other details including plans please contact Zonal Office ) 3. The Zonal Manager,Bank of India, Zonal Office, Nagpur Zone-1,3rd Floor, Nagpur does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any quotation and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations whether in whole or in part without assigning any reason for doing so. The Bank reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest quotations/s. 4. Within seven days of the receipt of intimation from the owner of acceptance of his/their quotation, the successful tendered shall be bound to implement the contract by signing the agreement in accordance with the draft agreement and the conditions of contract with the owner. 5. The rates quoted by the contractor should include all charges for scaffolding, materials, labour, hire for any tools, marking out and clearing of the site as mentioned in the specifications. The rate quoted by the tenderer will be deemed to be for the finished work to be measured at site. The rates shall be inclusive of all applicable taxes, sales tax,octroi duty,

5 works contract tax Provident Fund, Insurance etc. levied by any Government or any public body. The contractor shall abide by the rules of Minimum Wages Act and child Labor act and keep the Bank indemnified regarding the same. 6. The rate shall be binding to the Contractor for all the tender items till the completion of the work irrespective of variation in market rates of material and labour. 7. Special attention of the tenderer is drawn to the alternative items in the schedule of quantities. The rates and amount for these alternative items. If any, shall be duly filled in. The Bank reserves the right to adopt any of the alternative items, after scrutinizing and deciding upon the tenders or later when the work is being executed. 8. The successful tenderer should make own arrangement to obtain all materials required for the work. 9. The various materials stored on site shall be protected from the fire or rains etc. and the contractor shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Bank for the same. 10. The contractor shall allow enough facilities to the sub-contractors employed by the Bank and should co-operate with them and that small holes etc. made by these sub-contractors to the structure shall be properly corrected by the general contractor without any prejudice and extra cost whatsoever. 11. The Bank reserves the right to omit any item or items or part thereof while execution of the work for which contractor shall not claim any compensation whatsoever. 12. The contractor will have to follow the instructions and guidelines as issued to him by the Bank. If any work is not carried out satisfactory or to the required standard in the opinion of architect/bank the contractor will have to rectify it again at his own cost, without any additional payment and without any challenge % (TEN percent) of the tender amount will be retained as retention money for five years from the date of completion of work. 14.The work is to be completed within the stipulated period only. A penalty of Rs per day will be levied if the contractor fails to complete the work within the specified time limit.
