2 OVERVIEW OF SHIP REPAIR FACILITIES IN VARNA 1. ODESSOS SHIPREPAIR YARD S.A. LOCATION ODESSOS Shiprepair Yard S.A. is situated at the southern end of the city of Varna, on the island between the old and new canals connecting Black Sea and the Lake of Varna and is about one mile far from the mouth of Port Varna. Spread over an area of about 320,000 square meters, Odessos is the largest well equipped yard in Bulgaria suitable for repair and drydocking of vessels up to 70,000 DWT and afloat repairs of vessels up to 150,000 DWT. A new-built floating dock was successfully commissioned on 15 th June 2010, which will enable to drydock Panamax type vessels up to 70,000 DWT. A well-equipped certified laboratory carries out all kinds of chemical and mechanical tests. The Yard has own warehouses for the storage of all main materials and spare parts, also a well-developed inter-factory transport including tug boats. Also located in the Yard s territory is a Fire Department. - Mechanical Shop carries out all kinds of repairs to main and auxiliary diesel engines, air, freon and ammonia compressors, heat-exchangers, all kinds and types of pumps, highpressure fuel pumps and nozzles; also, machining of shafts, gear wheels and various details in a wide range of sizes. There is also a foundry where stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and bronze details are cast. A forgery is functioning as well. -Steel Shop is well equipped and employs experienced specialists, which enables it to perform any repair works on ship s hull, hatch covers, various hull structures and assemblies, and repairs to boilers as well. Also conversions are successfully carried out. -Painting & Carpentry Shop carries out all kinds of hull cleaning and reconditioning activities, high-pressure water-jet cleaning up to 2500 bar and gritblasting up to SA 2,5 acc. Swedish standard; application of protective coatings including zinc silicate coating and silicone antifouling coating, and painting as well. The Shop also offers the fabrication and repair of any parts of wood and GRP, as well as upholsterer s services. -Pipe Shop deals with all kinds of pipe work such as pipe renewal, repair and modification, as well as fabrication and installation of new pipelines. A section for HFC bending of pipes up to 250 mm diameter is available. High quality is also guaranteed by a modern CNC pipe profile cutting machine which can handle pipes up to 500 mm diameter. -Electrical Shop carries out repair and rewinding of all kinds of electrical equipment, motors, generators up to 400 kw, all kinds of electrical pumps and compressors, ship s automatics, rudder gears, etc. Also, a full range of services onboard are rendered.

5 2. BULYARD SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY EAD Bulyard Shipbuilding Industry EAD is the largest shipbuilding enterprise in Bulgaria. The company designs, constructs and repairs ships up to DWT. Over 850 vessels for owners of 27 countries have been built for the over one-hundred years long history of the shipyard. The product portfolio comprises Product Tankers, Chemical Tankers, Container Carriers, Bulk Carriers, General Cargo vessels, Coal Carriers and Multipurpose vessels. LOCATION Bulyard Shipbuilding Industry is situated in the South Industrial Zone of Varna - the second largest city and the main port of Bulgaria. The shipyard is very close to Varna-Sofia railway, 5 minutes away from the center of the city and 10 minutes away from Varna airport. This location and the moderate weather conditions make the shipyard highly accessible throughout the year. This situation readily facilitates rapid materials acquisition and re-supply and coupled with the skilled labor supply enables Bulyard to offer round-theclock and round-the-calendar dedicated production. The major part of the production facilities of the company is located at Varna Port, at the western coast of the Black Sea covering an area of around 410 sq.m.

MTG-DOLPHIN PLC LOCATION Ship-repair yard MTG-Dolphin PLC is situated on the Lake of Varna at about 7 miles far from the city of Varna. It starts activities in 1991and its fast development is considerable through the years. It is suitable for repair and drydocking of vessels up to 70,000 DWT and afloat repairs of vessels up to 150,000 DWT. Recent years shipbuilding is also stipulated with specialized vessels in the records. TEREM KRZ FLOTSKI ARSENAL VARNA EOOD Location The Shiprepair Yard TEREM - KRZ FLOTSKI ARSENAL VARNA EOOD is situated on the shore of Varna lake at distance of 20 km from Varna, on territory of sq. m, and has total length of the coastal line 1700m. TEREM - KRZ FLOTSKI ARSENAL VARNA EOOD, Varna is member and founder of Black Sea Region Association of Shipbuilders and Ship repairers. The Yard implemented Quality Assurance System, which meets the requirements of Standard ISO 9001 and was certified from Bulgarian Ministry of Defense for AQAP 110.

11 Docking facilities: Entirely infrastructural industrial area of sq m: with electricity, water, compressedair and acetylene supply, welding equipment and cranes; Two floating docks: Dock 1 floating reinforced concrete; length 155 m; width 23,4 m; cranes 2 x 5 t; load capacity 7000 t; Dock 2 floating handling dock; length 115 m; width 16,8 m; cranes 1 x 8 t; total load capacity of the dock 2224 t, 1800 t with a vessel train; three building berth sites, possible construction of another three building berth sites, serviced by 16- tonne and 8-tonne cranes. The dock allows 4 to 6 ships and submarines to be docked simultaneously; The repair wharfs of a combined length of 960 m are equipped with 25-tonne and 16-tonne cranes;

12 The manufacturing blocks are equipped with service stands and tooling for maintenance of the current equipment and the armaments of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria. Services Product program of the shiprepair yard "Flotski Arsenal" comprises two basic divisions: shiprepair and shipbuilding. The yard is specialized in repair of special and civil production. Complex repair of special production includes repair of surface naval vessels and submarines, weapons, radar stations and equipment, armament and many others(incl. Electronic, spare parts and life saving crafts) Complex repair of civil production includes repair of vessels and civil services.
