College of Animal Science South China Agricultural University Guangzhou China China Abstract In this study the effects of DDGS distillers dried grains with solubles on growth performance and serum biochemical indexes were investigated to discuss in finishing pigs. One hundred and twenty Duroc Landrace Large white pigs with 60 kg body weight were randomly allotted into 5 groups. The control group was fed with corn-soybean meal basal diet and test I II and III were fed with the DDGS volume of 8% 16% 24% test Ⅳ was fed with the DDGS volume of 24% + compound enzyme amount 160 mg /kg the experiment lasted for 45 days period. The results showed that compared with control group the ADG of test I test II test III and Ⅳ were decreased by 7. 44% % % and % and there was a significant difference between the control group and test I II and Ⅳ P < The ADFI of test I II III and Ⅳ were decreased by 3. 53% 6. 01% % and 8. 48% and there was a significant difference between the control group and test III and Ⅳ P < The F /G of test I II III and Ⅳ were increased by 4. 14% 8. 88% % and % and there was a significant difference between the control group and test III and Ⅳ P < On 45 d the serum total cholesterol triglycerides phosphorus AST and ALT concentration between each groups were no significant difference P > The result suggested that there was no significant effect on growth performance when 8% or 16% DDGS was used in finishing pigs diet
