How to apply Always apply ACE Green Turf Starter Fertilizer and all other lawn fertilizers with a spreader for even distribution. NEVER APPLY BY HAND. Do not apply to wet grass. Do not apply during periods of drought. Use the formula below to calculate the size of the area you are treating and do not over or under apply. Set the spreader according to the chart. The condition of your spreader, the speed at which you apply fertilizer and the roughness of your lawn may affect the setting.
