1 ROBO SCAN SMA proudly presents ROBO SCAN the first large format book scanner with automatic page turning function. So far all existing robotic scanners can only handle small books (below A2). The new ROBO SCAN can handle books up to A2 (ROBO SCAN 2) or A1 (ROBO SCAN 1) without a problem. The ROBO SCAN Option is based on the well known book scanners SCAN MASTER 2 and SCAN MASTER 1 with all its benefits. MAP MASTER L The is a portable A1 Super Plus flatbed scanner for large, fragile single sheet documents such as MAP MASTER L newspapers, photographs, maps, architectural drawings and other originals that do not require a book cradle or cannot be stressed by a feeder. Due to its mobile construction it is very easy even for a single person to relocate the scanner. Simply unlock the flatbed, fold it up and off you go. Operating the MAP MASTER L is as easy as operating a photo copier. Open the lid, place the document, close the lid and hit the copy button - that s it!

2 MAP MASTER XL The MAP MASTER XL is a mobile A0+ flatbed scanner for large, fragile single sheet documents such as newspapers, photographs, maps, architectural drawings and other originals that do not require a book cradle or cannot be stressed by a feeder. The MAP MASTER XL is equipped with a unique scan engine. It provides high quality images based on state of the art technology. Bitonal, grey scale or color images can be produced at an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. Due to its deviation of less than ± 0.08% in geometrical and dimensional accuracy the MAP MASTER XL is ideal for usage in the GIS, cartography and land survey environment. Regardless of its size the MAP MASTER XL is still a mobile device. Even a single person can to relocate the scanner. Simply unlock the flatbed, fold it up and off you go. MAP MASTER XXL The MAP MASTER XXL is a unique Double A0+ flatbed scanner for real oversize originals. Finally a product arrived in the market that many customers have been waiting for. No more multiple scanning and stitching! With a scanning range of 2540 x 915 mm (100 x 36 inches) it covers most originals that A0 scanners cannot handle. The MAP MASTER XXL is also superior to extremely expensive high resolution cameras as it provides a higher optical resolution over the entire scanning range. Like all our flatbed scanners the MAP MASTER XXL can easily be moved around due to its unique rollaway mount - a very important feature for such a big scanner!

3 SMART SHOT The SMART SHOT is a self-service walk up scanner which makes it a perfect choice for public places such as libraries, universities, airports, hotel lobbies etc. Its simple and robust design makes it almost maintenance free which results in a very low cost of ownership. With its integrated computer the SMART SHOT is an independent solution that does not require any further hardware. It works pretty much like standard PC - unpack it, plug and play! A built-in touch screen allows you full functionality of the SMART SHOT at your fingertips. Keyboard and mouse are no longer required. SCAN MASTER 3 The SCAN MASTER 3 was designed to scan books in high quality at a reasonable price. It is a light desktop unit that can be moved around easily which makes the product ideal for mobile usage. The SCAN MASTER 3 is equipped with a new manual self-leveling book cradle. Much like opening a glass plate the operator simply lifts the top of the scanner, places the book and closes the lid. The scanning process is being released automatically. This concept results in a very high productivity. The optical resolution of the SCAN MASTER 3 is 600 dpi. Like all SMA scanners the SCAN MASTER 3 can be operated independent from ambient light.

4 SCAN MASTER 2 The new SCAN MASTER 2 is a very powerful scanner that can handle any original up to A2. The motorized standard book cradle has a range of 35 cm, can handle up to 50 kg weight and is equipped with adjustable pressure sensors. It can be pulled out to make the workflow easier for the operator. Features like manual or automatic opening of the glass plate, vacuum table, device to scan transparent originals and an attachment to scan v-shaped books are optional available. The glass plate of the SCAN MASTER 2 can be removed without the need of any tools. The SCAN MASTER 2 can be operated independent from ambient light and achieves a resolution of up to 1200 dpi! Another unique feature is that the SCAN MASTER 2 can be upgraded to robotic scanning! Alternatively the SCAN MASTER 2 is available with a 20 cm book cradle. SCAN MASTER 1 The SCAN MASTER 1 is probably the most beneficial A1 scanner in the market. It handles books, newspapers, photographs, maps, architectural drawings and any other bound or unbound originals easily. Of course like all other SMA scanners the SCAN MASTER 1 can be operated totally independent from the ambient light conditions. Every scan is being produced at the same high quality. Further the special illumination concept with elements based on the latest LED technology guarantees that the scan takes place free of UV and IR radiation. A major benefit is the fact that the operator's eyes are safe from light irritatation - a fact that is not found in other book scanners. Only SMA scanners show those important characteristics!
