1 CERN Youth Science Programme From the organisers of the London International Youth Science Forum ( comes a unique programme for students aged 12-16yrs old who are thinking of a possible future in science. Start your journey as budding scientists on a discovery programme to take a look behind the scenes of some of Europe s most exciting cities and scientific centres. Successful completion of the programme is rewarded by certificate, but this only goes a little way to detail the experience you will have had. Go back stage and become a scientist for day at of the world's largest particle physics laboratory, CERN, Switzerland and explore the mysteries of the universe with particle accelerators and detectors. Be an Astronaut for the day at the Euro Space Centre, taking part in actual astronaut training activities and even simulating walking on the moon! Explore three iconic capital cities of Brussels, Paris and Bern and discoversome of the world's most famous attractions as well as the world renowned university city of Cambridge. Soak up the Parisian atmosphere at Notre Dame, enjoy Disney, marvel at the art inside the Louvre and discover the Parisian home to scientific advances at the renowned Cité des Sciences et de l'industrie.

3 Day 3 Paris o Transfer to Paris (4hrs) o Lunch in a local restaurant o Guided visit of Cité des sciences. Get to grips with astronomy, physics, chemistry, life sciences, earth science and even mathematics in this museum that has been devoted to fundamental sciences since o Paris orientation taking in all the major landmarks, including Opera, Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, Trocadero, Bastille square and modern opera house, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Luxembourg gardens, Louvre and Saint-Germain des Pres. o Typical French Dinner including tastings! o Accommodation in Paris area 3* hotel. Cite des Sciences Day 4 Disneyland Paris Breakfast to be served at your hotel. Treat yourself to a magical time at Disneyland Paris. Enjoy an adrenaline-pumping ride on Space Mountain: Mission 2 and a nail-biting experience with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. Disneyland Paris Day 5 Paris Geneva o Breakfast to be served at your Paris hotel o Train transfer to Geneva ( 3h 15m) o Geneva Orientation - see the Geneva Water Fountain and the Flower Clock, have a walk around the Old Town o Enjoy a 1-hour cruise around Lake Geneva, often referred to as Europe's most spectacular lake. 4 Day 6 Geneva o Scientist introduction to your day at CERN o Be a scientist for the day, explore the mysteries of the universe and find out about the gigantic equipment used by physicists at CERN - particle accelerators and detectors. o Completion of the training day and awarding of your certificate o Dinner in Geneva restaurant o Transfer on the train Geneva Interlaken o Overnight in Interlaken area hotel CERN Day 7 Jungfraujoch o Visit the Jungfraujoch s eternal ice and snow the top of Europe and UNESCO World Heritage Site o Look down upon the ice wilderness of swirling glaciers and across at 13,000 ft (4,000 m) high mountain turrets. o Lunch o Dinner in a local restaurant o Overnight in Interlaken area hotel Day 8 Departure o Transfer to Zurich airport for your flight o Departure Departure

5 INCLUSIONS: 7nights of accommodation based on twin or triple room sharing Entrances and fees included for attractions you will be visiting subject to your programme content. Entrance fees are based on Child (under 16 ) rates Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner as per itinerary). 2 course lunch and dinner to include a soft drink.
