7 CRICOS Code: A Overview For students interested in English for general everyday use such as travel, business and light study. Ozford offers 5 levels (10 weeks each level) of General English with a new and relevant topic each week to study and then practice with your English communication skills. You will meet people from different countries and cultures while learning at your own pace. Your level of English is tested on your first day at Ozford and you are placed in the appropriate class level. Promotion to the next English language level is possible every two weeks. Placed in mixed nationality groups, students discuss their own experience of unusual weather patterns. Listening and Reading Space Day : class begins with a presentation on the solar system. Students complete a question sheet for the presentation and ask questions throughout the class time. Reading, Writing and Speaking Situation what if? Students re-arrange the words to form correct questions to hypothetical situations. Reading, Listening and Speaking Assessment: students have 3 4 minutes to report on what can be done to reduce climate change and its impact. Computer lesson Students research climate change and global warming online, then present on subject areas and work as a team. Presentation delivered on Friday. 8 English for Secondary School Preparation (ESSP) CRICOS Code: M Overview If you are planning to study in an Australian Secondary High School this is the course for you. There are three levels of English for Secondary School Preparation with new topics to study each week and interesting life experiences so that you can practice your general English communication skills. There are subject specific texts and activities to give you the vocabulary and exposure to the kind of texts needed to be successful in an Australian High School classroom. Students also have the opportunity each term to join in an authentic high school classroom experience. Students can take an Art, Maths, Science or IT class in a real high school class (Secondary School Preparation Class) so you can gain first-hand knowledge of high school in Australia.
