Current research pertaining to trauma-informed treatment, and how other fields, including legal services, medicine and child care, are incorporating trauma-informed practices and programs will be discussed. Sessions will be tailored to service providers who work with women and their children affected by substance use disorders, and will help them empower their clients who are healing from both trauma and addiction.
