The image quality is a crisp 1200 x 1200 dpi, there s a useful range of options for automatically creating fully finished booklets, reports and other documents, and the 3,100-sheet paper supply can be expanded all the way up to 6,600 sheets. What s more, you can control every operation and every major feature and setting from a large 8.5 colour touch screen. You can even customise the screen for each of your team members, giving them instant shortcuts to their favourite features the moment they log on. 2

3 Scanning made easy If fast, easy scanning is important to you, choose the optional network scanning kit. It lets your team scan as many as 75 originals per minute, in batches of up to 150 sheets at a time. You can scan directly to a variety of popular file formats including TIFF, PDF, encrypted PDF, JPG, XPS and high-compression PDF*. It also comes with Sharpdesk our popular document management software. The MX-M753U and MX-M623U can take care of all this and more. And that s regardless of whether your originals are in colour or black & white, single- or double-sided, or a mixture of different sizes. Conserving natural resources MFPs of this class are designed for heavy use. But that doesn t mean that these Energy Star-certified MFPs cost a fortune to run. Automatic two-sided printing and copying helps to save paper. Toner Save mode (for non-critical documents) uses less toner. And Proof Print reduces waste by letting you check a sample set before committing to a long print run. Plus, as well as being equipped with a manual power save button to reduce unnecessary energy consumption, both models consume just a single watt of energy during the night: just enough to receive faxes. While you re scanning it s easy to add data to the files with the optional QWERTY keyboard, and to send your scans to recipients, network folders, your desktop or a plug-in USB memory stick. There are three things that you need to protect: your documents, your data and your network. The MX-M753U and MX-M623U protect them all. Robust user authentication and PIN-controlled printing help to safeguard sensitive information. SSL and IPsec data encryption protect against data interception. And secure network cards and portbased network control guard against external attacks. But that s not all. If your team routinely handles confidential information you may want to add our Data Security Kit (DSK), too. This lets you encrypt and/or securely erase data on the hard disk and internal memory: automatically or on demand. The DSK option also comes with a Document Control function to prevent unauthorised copying, scanning, faxing and filing by adding hidden data to documents. 5 Easy, centralised device management and support The MX-M753U and MX-M623U are truly easy to manage. For a start, you can monitor every important setting from a dedicated web page. But that s not all. A Printer Status Monitor on your PC lets you check that there s enough toner and paper before you start a job. A glance at the Job Status Screen will reveal every copy and print job and its position in the queue. And an alert will pop up as soon as your documents are printed. Your support staff will love them, too. A Remote Diagnosis feature monitors the MFPs through a web browser, and they ll get timely messages when maintenance is required. Sharp Remote Device Manager also gives them real-time control of your Sharp MFPs - again, through a browser - making technical support, driver installation and firmware upgrades easier than ever.
