2 Situation and Challenges Family Book as an Important Breeder Document Situation and Challenges Increasing risk of fraudsters attacking breeder documents In Arabic countries the family book is an important breeder document and needs to be protected Often family books have only limited security features However the family book is one proof of identification and often a pre requisite to other official documents such as national ID cards, passports etc. Goal The Family Book should be treated as a security document and with the same care as a passport or ID document Include a smart set of security features to create a highly secure document and to prevent fraud To be designed so that multiple entries are possible over a long period of time 7 March 2016 Slide 2
