Students will read final long /e/ words using Teaching chart 114, and read decodable book Piggy is Messy. Phonics/ Students will sort words with final long /e/. Students will review sight words also, because, blue, or, other, until. Students will preview and make predictions for the story Animal Teams. They will visualize while reading and retell to complete a retelling chart 116. Students will understand and use adverbs that tell when.
