8 AMERI-SPRING with AMERI-GUARD The Lady Americana sleep system uses the exclusive Ameri-Spring innerspring unit with Ameri-Guard total perimeter steel encased side support. This exclusive innerspring has many built in features that provide a high level of sleep satisfaction for each guest and trouble free years of service for hotel management. A great night s sleep is one of the most important things you can provide for your guests. Continuous Coils The sleeper receives support from all the coils in the row because each row is fashioned from one continuous piece of wire, creating sustained transfer of energy. Angular Coil Design Pressure applied from the sleeper is absorbed without the coils hammocking, twisting, turning or sagging. W Shaped Coils The latest innerspring technology utilizes high tensile strength wire more effectively to provide ideal, individual comfort, support and durability. Interlocking Coils Assures the guests, no matter what their support requirements, will be held in the proper posture position. Ameri-Spring is the only unit that can offer each individual guest perfect support and refreshing sleep. Open Ended Coils The surface of the spring unit contours to the shape of the sleeper, giving a supple, comfortable sleep surface. Left and Right Turning Coils Every coil counterbalances every other coil and eliminates side to side motion. This provides a very stable sleeping surface, even if one sleeper is restless.

9 FOAM Several different types of polyurethane foam are used in both the comfort and quilt packages of our mattresses to achieve different comfort levels and qualities. Because we are a fully certified member of CertiPUR-US you can be assured our foam is tested against strict international VOV standards to meet specific criteria for physical performance, content, indoor emissions and environmental stewardship. Density is a measurement of quality Foam is a combination of material and air; the difference in the amount of these is the density. Higher density foam has less air, is higher quality and will last longer. Density is measured by weighing 1 cubic foot of foam. If a 12 x12 x12 piece of foam weighs 2lbs. its density is 2.0, if it weighs 1/2lb. its density is.5, etc. The industry standard for mattress foam is 1.2 density. Lady Americana uses 1.2 thru 2.4 density foams in our mattresses and is committed to building a quality, durable product. Indentation Load Deflection (ILD) ILD is a measure of load bearing ability or firmness. This measurement is taken by recording the amount of force in pounds required to compress a 4 piece of foam to 3. The more pressure required, the more firm the foam. High Resiliency Foam HR foam is a high density polyurethane foam with a unique cell structure that gives it exceptional comfort, memory and durability. Normally it is used in premium solid foam mattresses. Lady Americana has implemented foam toppers of HR Foam into our ultra premier sleep sets. A series of cup-shaped internal supports are welded to the box springs border wire and cross-support grid, then secured at the base on two axes.
