1 Remote Deposit Sub User Setup 1. Access the main login page by using the following URL 2. Enter your username and default password provided by First Commonwealth. Click the Login button. 1
2 3. The system will prompt you to change your default password. Current Password - Enter your default password New Password - Choose a password using the parameters listed on the Change Password screen Re-Enter New Password - Re-enter the password chosen Click on the Change Password button 2
3 4. The system will prompt you to answer three (3) security questions. Use the drop down arrow to choose a question Provide the answer in the box to the right of the question You must choose three separate questions to continue Click the Submit button when finished 3
4 5. Click on the Administration tab. Then click on the Manage Roles link. 6. Click on the add a new role link. 4
5 7. You will now need to create a Remote Deposit role that will be assigned to any sub user that requires access to Remote Deposit. Role Name - Name the Role you are about to create. Ex - Remote Deposit Role Description - A brief description to identify the role. Ex - RDC Scroll down to the Account Access section 5
6 8. Each account that will be used for Remote Deposit must be entitled as such. Click in the appropriate box, placing a checkmark to identify the account(s) that will be used for Remote Deposit For each account identified, place a checkmark in the Account Portfolio column. Under the Activity Access section, place a checkmark in the box to grant access for Remote Deposit. Click the Next button. Account 1 Account 2 Account 3 6
7 9. An Add/Edit Role Verification screen will appear. 10. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Save Roles button. Account 1 Account 2 Account 3 7
8 11. A verification screen will appear advising that the role was successfully added. 12. Click on the Manage Users link. Then click on the add a new user link. Joe_Smith_Admin Joe Smith 8
9 13. The sub user will be created on this screen. All fields on this screen are required. Username - Choose a username for the individual you are creating Password - Create a default password Confirm Password - Re-enter the default password Status - Active First Name - First name of user being created Last Name - Last name of user being created Tax ID - Enter company s ID Date of Birth - Enter DOB of user being created Phone - Enter company phone number - Enter business address Role - Click on the drop down arrow and choose the role you created for this user in Step 7 Click on Add User button. 9
10 14. A confirmation screen will appear. 15. Repeat Steps to create additional users 16. Once all users have been created, please Logoff the system. 10
11 17. The sub user(s) created in Steps must now logon to the system. 18. The sub user will enter the username and default password you created in Step 13 and then press the Login button. 19. The system will prompt the sub user to change their default password. 12 20. The system will prompt the sub user to answer three (3) security questions. Use the drop down arrow to display and choose a question Provide the answer in the box to the right of the question You must choose three separate questions to continue Click the Submit button when finished 21. Click on the Other Services tab. 12
13 22. Click on the Remote Deposit link **Please note - If you are not entitled for Lockbox services, the error message below will display. Please disregard. 23. If a Security Alert appears, click Yes. 13
14 24. The Remote Deposit application will now open. At this point, the sub user has not been entitled to use the system. Therefore, the modules you are accustom to viewing will not be present. 25. The sub user will now Logout of the system. 26. All sub users created will need to complete Steps The Primary User will now login to the system to assign entitlements for Remote Deposit. 14
15 28. Click on the Other Services tab. 29. Click on the Remote Deposit link. 30. Next click on the Configuration link in the box on the left side of the page. 15
16 31. Highlight the sub user name in the Select a User box. 32. Scroll down on the page to the Select Roles section. Place a checkmark in the box, by clicking on it, to assign the role(s) required for the sub user. 16
17 33. Click on the word Remote Capture in the User Tasks box. 34. Click on the Edit Access Rights button. 17
18 35. Assign the appropriate location/accounts to the sub user by placing a checkmark in the corresponding box. Your Company Name Company Account (number) 36. Click on the OK button when finished. Your Company Name Company Account (number) 18
19 37. Complete Steps for all additional sub users. 38. Once Steps have been completed, the sub users will have access to Remote Deposit. 19
