4 IRDA s Environmental Policy 1. To provide excellent and robust strategic environmental policy advice and directions for Iskandar Malaysia through the Greenfocused Agenda; and 2. To oversee the implementation of the Low Carbon Society Blueprint for Iskandar Malaysia.

5 Rationale on why Iskandar Malaysia has adopted the Green Focused Agenda Astute planning & management on Issues of climate change and global warming; setting targets for a low carbon footprint; and positive support and promotion of a green economy through increased investments in environmental assets, green technology and production. Without the GREEN, there is no SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 5

15 Strong points: CASBEE Iskandar Malaysia 1) CASBEE can assess not only a building but an urban area and even city level. 2) CASBEE has two dimensional (load and quality) axis, and can evaluate "efficiency (Q/L)". 3) CASBEE can assess variety of building, such as office, school, hospital and so on. 4) CASBEE has several tools to satisfy needs from building designer, consumer and so on for their own purpose. 5) CASBEE is much cheaper.
