4 Introduction DTC, TAE, DTA, Forward curved and TDF Series Backward curved centrifugal fans are used in HVAC systems, filtration systems and other ventilation applications. Product Types TYPE D - LIGHT DUTY The D-Type fan is supported with mounting feet and can be mounted in three different orientations. 3 or 4 spoke bearing support frame. TYPE K - LIGHT DUTY WITH FRAME The K-Type fan is supported with a frame and can be mounted in four different orientations. 3 or 4 spoke bearing support frame. TYPE H - MEDIUM DUTY WITH FRAME The H-Type fan is supported with a medium duty frame and can be mounted in four different orientations. Plummer Block bearing. TYPE G - HEAVY DUTY WITH FRAME The G-Type fan is supported with a heavy duty frame and can be mounted in four different orientations. Plummer Block bearing. 5 Rotation Direction Performance MOTOR POWER The Power on the performance curve is shaft power. Motor power is determined by mechanical efficiency and Safety factor. 6 Sound levels The Sound level shown on each curon. Sound Pressure Level A, Free field Lp(A) = Lw(A) - (20logD) - 11 B, Room condition Lp(A) = Lw(A) - (20logD) - 7 where D = Distance of fan (m) Belt tension A proper level of belt tension is required in order to obtain satisfactory belt life. If the belt tension level is too high, then excessive loads will be imposed con the belts and the bearings, and this will reduce the life of both components. 11 Product overview TDF series of backward curved centrifugal fans are used in a wide variety of applications designed for high efficiency and low noise. Fan sizes available from 200 to, volume flow from 430m 3 /hr to m 3 /hr and total pressure from 120Pa to 2 500Pa. DESIGNATION OF PRODUCTS TDF 355 HM LG ROTATION DIRECTION BEARING TYPE CONSTRUCTION TYPE DIAMETER OF IMPELLER FAN MODEL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS WHEEL: SCROLL: FRAME: BEARINGS: SHAFT: BALANCING: Backward curved, manufactured from high grade steel designed to provide high efficiency and low noise characteristics. Specially designed blades are welded on centre disc and bell entry. Manufactured from high grade galvanised sheetmetal, laser-cut to precision. The scroll plate is joined to side plates by Pittsburgh lock form and weld. Angle iron, coated with polyester paint. Self-aligning ball bearings. Machined from C45 carbon steel to high tolerance levels, and is corrosion resistant coated. All wheels are statically and dynamically balanced to ISO1940 and AMCA 204-G2.5 standard.

77 Product overview The TAE Series forward curved centrifugal fans are DWDI. The efficiency of all the fans is guaranteed through specific volume figures at maximum pressure differentials. Excellent performance and minimal noise levels are features of this new fan range. The radial fans are designed for the conveyance of clean air and nonaggressive steam and gases at a temperature range from -30ºC to 80ºC. The fans are suitable for supply or extract applications in commercial, process and industrial HVAC systems. DESIGNATION OF PRODUCTS TAE 225 K LG ROTATION DIRECTION CONSTRUCTION TYPE DIAMETER OF IMPELLER FAN MODEL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS SCROLL: IMPELLER: INLET: BEARINGS: SHAFT: The scroll is manufactured from galvanised sheet steel. Standard holes are located in the side plates to fix mounting frame and mounting feet to allow for easy installation. The impeller of the TAE series is forward multi-bladed in order to obtain maximum efficiency and low noise level. The impeller is manufactured from galvanised steel, the larger diameter impellers are fitted with tie-rods. All impellers are statically and dynamically balanced according to ISO1904 and AMCA 204 G4.0 standards. The aerodynamically shaped inlets are bolted in to guarantee a perfect inlet stream into the impeller. Inlets are made of galvanised sheet metal. The TAE ventillator s bearings are selected to provide maximum life and reliability. For TAE-D/K, sealed deep grooved ball bearings are fitted to the harmonic strut housings. Unavoidable alignment errors in the sheet metal casing are compensated by the spherical outer ring. For type TAE-H, the grooved ball bearings in the rugged cast iron casings are completely sealed.
