5 Tests were conducted in Japan, using Japanese domestic models. Comparison of the level of freshness and nutrients of food placed inside the new model R-X6700E (equivalent to R-E6800XS) refrigerator compartment and the vacuum compartment (vacuum environment at -1 C setting) and the previous year s model R-G6700D vacuum compartment (vacuum environment at -1 C setting, but without release of anti-oxidant components). The taste and texture of food placed inside the new model R-X6700E s refrigerator compartment and vacuum compartment (vacuum environment at -1 C setting), and the vacuum compartment (vacuum environment at -1 C setting, but without release of anti-oxidant components and pungent components) of the R-C6700, which is a model from 2 years ago, are compared. The room temperature outside the refrigerator was 20 C and the food items were wrapped with polyvinyl-chloride wrap, without opening/closing of the doors. Water or gas is able to permeate the polyvinyl-chloride wrap, thus even with or without the wrap, there is no influence on vacuum storage or Aero-care storage effects. The effects differ depending on the type, and freshness of food items stored. It does not have the effect of extending the expiry date, and we don t guarantee that the food will definitely be kept fresh during the stipulated storage period. *2: Comparison of time taken for the salt concentration in the radish to reach 1.3% in the refrigeration compartment (atmospheric pressure) and Vacuum Compartment when immersing 10mm thin slices of radish in 10% salt water. Refrigeration compartment: 240 minutes; Vacuum Compartment: 108 minutes. Tested using R-G6700D (functions equivalent to R-E6800XS). Permeation rates may differ depending on food or seasoning used.

Compared to the initial value, there was no effect of increasing nutrients. Furthermore, the graph compares between the new model R-X6700E Aero-care Vege Zone with the previous year s model R-G6700D moist vegetable compartment (no Aero-care Preservation / with moist storage) and model R-Z6200 vegetable compartment (no Aero-care Preservation / no moist storage) from 5 years ago. It does not have the effect of extending the expiry date, and we don t guarantee that the food will definitely be kept fresh during the stipulated storage period.
