Conferences since 1991 Through its TTI and The Department of Education, LAU has kept the tradition of holding an annual conference on both campuses under the umbrella title of the Global Education of the Child since The title is derived from an approach to teaching and learning that was launched by UNICEF and adopted by the Ministry of Education in early 1990s.
