If you've been marketing as an affiliate selling other people's products online, than you know that it's not as simple as promoting an affiliate link and watching the profits roll in. One of the popular methods that has cost people lots of money is promoting affiliate links using the direct linking method, which involves setting up a Google Adwords campaign, paying anywhere from a click for certain keywords and linking directly to the affiliate product, letting it run for a day or two. Once upon a time you could get away with this method and make a cool profit real easy, but that's no longer the case and not the best route to work with especially if you're not into losing money before you start making some. So what is it about super affiliates? Why is it that it seems like everything they touch turns to gold while others go hungry hoping for at least one sale on any given product? Well in this brief report, I'm going to share 3 super affiliate marketing tactics that can change the kind of results you've been experiencing. Before we go any further it's important to adjust our perspective when it comes to promoting affiliate products. While it's very easy to set up an affiliate campaign and start promoting whatever tickles your fancy it's important not to forget one simple fact...

2 Your Time is Money While it doesn't have to cost you anything in terms of financial investment to promote products as an affiliate, there is still the investment of time. If you're time is valuable to you then the last thing you want to do is sink it into a campaign that's not likely to make you any money. The best way to make the most of your affiliate efforts is to set up a plan of attack and decide on what strategies may be the most effective for the market you're targeting. The planning stage is the stage that most average affiliates bypass because they don't see the value in preparation, they just want to get to the money and as a result end up not making any. So let's put together a simple plan that you can tailor to your market and products you choose. The first thing you need to do is find a product that you want to promote and find out who the target market for that product is. A simple way you can figure out who the target market is for a given product is to look at the bullet points of the sales letter. The bullet points usually consist of solutions to the questions people in your market are asking. One place you can go is Quantcast.com and this site will tell you not only who you're market demographic is, but it will also show you what other sites these people visit to give you a better picture of who you're talking to and what they're interests are. Step 1 So the first step as we said was to find an affiliate product you want to promote. Visit Clickbank.com and check out the marketplace under the category you want to work with.

3 Choose a product you want to work with, there is no sure way to pick a winner but here are a couple of yardsticks you can measure by to increase your odds. At the bottom of each site Clickbank gives you information you can use to determine if it's worth your while to bother promoting a particular site. Here's what that info looks like... The first arrow is pointing to the pitch page. This link will take you to the sales letter for the product. Click the link and check out the sales copy and see if it's something you would buy, if so you stand a good chance of making some sales. To be more sure, see if the bullet points address the needs of the market, then you'll know you've got a good one for sure. The second arrow is pointing to the amount you'll be paid per sale which in this case is $20.34 not bad. *An important statistic to consider is the "Future" stat. In the case of this product there is obviously a membership available that will pay you $ per month, recurring billing products are the most worthwhile affiliate sites to promote. Last but not least notice the arrow pointing to the "grav" or gravity. The gravity gives you an indication of how popular a product is and it's usually good to pick products with a gravity range of A high gravity indicator tells you that there is a considerable amount of competition for the product you may be considering. So if you see a gravity of 100 and up, unless you've got a big list of super responsive subscribers, you might want to work in the range we've just discussed.

4 Step 2 To get an idea of who your target market is regarding your chosen product visit Quantcast.com and input the url of the site in the view profile box... Once you put in the url of the site you're researching you'll see... With this information you can see that a large percentage of the target market for this particular product is made up of women between the ages of with no children making between 30k-60k a year most of whom are college grads. So that means they have money to spend. I hope you can see the power in the information being presented here, because if you develop your content to specifically target your market, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. O.k. so here are 3 profit tactics you can use to start raking in those commissions like a super affiliate. Profit Tactic #1

5 Offer an incentive to purchase from your link. This strategy is widely used and the reason so many super affiliates use this strategy is because it works. You can offer a free ebook, report or software that's related to the product you're promoting. The key to offering an effective incentive for your customers to buy is to offer something that enhances the use of the featured product. If the featured product is software, you could include a video tutorial showing how easy it is to use. Just be sure to make your offer relevant. A bunch of rehashed MRR or PLR products thrown together as an incentive won't cut it. Unless you offer your own unique MRR or PLR products. Ask your customers to a copy of their receipt to you so you can verify their purchase and issue your bonus. Profit Tactic #2 Create your own viral report to establish your credibility with your market and build rapport, but most importantly make sure to provide information that your market is looking for. If you want your report to have a persuasive impact it's important not to write it so that it reads like a sales pitch. I don't know about you but whenever I come across those cheesy reports that are a thinly disguised sales pitch I just ignore them all together. You can promote affiliate links within your report but make sure of two things: 1. The products your promoting are relevant and 2. Don't get carried away with sprinkling links throughout the report What will make it even easier for you is if you keep the report brief, around 5-10 pages. You want your report to presell your visitors so that they will be more responsive to the affiliate product or products you've chosen to promote. One or two related products for a short report should do. Offer your free report on your blog or upload it to free ebook sites for others to download. Profit Tactic #3 Build a list of targeted subscribers. Having a list of targeted responsive subscribers is the easiest traffic you can get to your affiliate link. The key to building a responsive list of subscribers that will open your s and click on your links is to provide content in addition to full on promotions. You can send articles related to your market topic as well as tips with promos sprinkled in between. Last but not least this may or may not be considered a tactic but when it comes to sending out ads to your list or writing blog posts and forum signatures, try to come up with your

6 own variation of the affiliate tools provided by the merchant. By putting your own spin on the affiliate tools provided you are positioning yourself to stand out amongst your competition.
