1 The revised Programs of Study and corresponding courses are outlined below by Career Cluster. For more information on the specific courses, please visit our career cluster webpage at Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools CTE Programs of Study This guide indicates Programs of Study (POS) being offered in MNPS as well as certifications/credentials that students may obtain through each POS when available. Earning a certification listed as well as meeting all other requirements would allow students to qualify for a diploma with distinction. Each POS is aligned with one of the 16 Career Clusters. Notes: DC indicates a dual credit opportunity DE indicates dual enrollment opportunity (teacher must meet hiring standard of the post-secondary institution) HQ indicates this course can satisfy a graduation requirement (in addition to the pathway course, aka double dipping ) if the teacher has HQ status SPOS indicates Special Program of Study (name of course) indicates a state pathway name that MNPS has branded with a different name Any student taking Personal Finance can earn dual credit.
